As a military zone property, non-local guests are restricted—this actually ensures an exceptionally clean and well-maintained environment, free from unwanted odors or disruptions. The cleanliness is outstanding, and the bedding is incredibly comfortable—perfect for a good night’s sleep. Staff were friendly, attentive, and always willing to help. When I arrived early, they managed to check me in immediately if a room was available (which it was!), and every request was handled promptly and with genuine care. Their warm smiles and thoughtful touches, like fresh welcome fruit that was sweet and delicious, made a real difference. One of the biggest surprises? They provide free tide-pooling gear! With the electric cart taking you straight to the beach entrance, I was able to head down and explore the tidal pools without any hassle. The bed setup (a 1.8m king and a 1.2m single) was ideal for two adults or even a family, and the mattress was just right—not too hard, not too soft. All essentials were included: air conditioning, TV, free Wi-Fi, hairdryer, and high-quality bedding with plenty of pillows. The bathroom is well-lit, has good ventilation, and provides constant hot water. While there’s no dry/wet separation, the shower flow is strong and efficient. I also appreciated the small vanity outside the shower area—everything you need for morning routines is neatly provided. What really stood out was the hospitality. The room was spacious, clean, and quiet with no musty smell, featuring a huge double bed and a single bed that made sleeping super comfortable. Though there’s no balcony, the view from the window was stunning — distant mountains, city streets, and a glimpse of Dadaohai Bay all in one frame. The bathtub was large and spotless, perfect for a relaxing soak after a long day. The on-site restaurant on the 5th floor served breakfast from 7 AM to 1:30 PM, offering an incredible variety — everything from local Chinese dishes to Western options, fresh fruits, desserts, coffee, and juices. Dining on the open-air terrace was a highlight; enjoying morning meals while watching the beach and sea breeze was pure bliss. There was also a cute photo booth area near the entrance where guests could try on traditional Hanfu or Tang-style outfits — great fun for families and Instagram lovers alike. The 6th floor features a stylish infinity pool that’s definitely Instagram-worthy, plus a well-equipped gym. Free shuttle service to Dadaohai Beach is available, but it’s just a 5-minute walk too — super convenient. Right across from the lobby is Da Boluo Mall, and don’t miss the must-try Zuo Po Chou hotpot on the 3rd floor — spicy, sour, and unforgettable. When I needed a late check-out due to personal reasons, the front desk staff member named Wenmingyi went above and beyond to help me extend by two hours. Her kindness and professionalism truly made my stay memorable. 10/10 experience!
