My original request for a sea-view room was upgraded—likely due to my Marriott Bonvoy Platinum status—and I appreciated the seamless communication throughout my stay. No need to call; everything was handled instantly through WeChat, making it incredibly convenient. While the hotel isn’t brand new, it maintains the high standards expected from a JW Marriott property. The pool is spacious and beautifully designed, with complimentary refreshments available during daytime lounging. Breakfast was outstanding—offering a wide variety of dishes and staying open until 11 AM. I highly recommend trying the Hòu’ān rice noodles—they were delicious and authentic. As a resort-style getaway, the views and overall experience truly shine. It’s hard to put into words just how relaxing and immersive it felt, but trust me, pictures don’t do it justice. I’d definitely return with my family in the near future—this place is perfect for a memorable vacation.

Also, kudos to Room Service Staff #6 for their timely cleaning and thoughtful attention to detail—they brought exactly what we needed without being asked. The hotel’s location is convenient for exploring Dadonghai, with easy access to public transit and nearby restaurants and shops. One minor downside was that the spa couldn’t accommodate two guests at the same time—an odd limitation since we’ve experienced flexibility at other hotels. If demand is high enough to cause this issue, it might be worth considering hiring more staff to meet guest needs. But honestly, this small inconvenience didn’t take away from the great experience. I’d definitely book here again on my next trip to Sanya.

On the ground floor, there are a restaurant, convenience store, and fitness center—everything you'd want within easy reach. Breakfast is a delicious buffet with both Chinese and Western options. I decided to upgrade to a full-day breakfast, and the friendly staff member suggested purchasing it through the hotel's livestream, which turned out to be a great deal—way more affordable than expected. I stayed four nights in a spacious deluxe double room with a bathtub. The room was quiet and clean, with daily housekeeping and the option to request fresh linens whenever needed. The only minor downside was the slightly outdated bathtub—I brought my own cleaner and gave it a good scrub, making it perfect for a relaxing evening soak. Most of the guests were Russian, and having multilingual staff who speak Russian made communication smooth and welcoming. The hotel is just a 700-meter walk from Luling Road Bus Stop, and nearby are shopping spots like Xia Ri Department Store and Da Boluo Mall. There are also plenty of local eateries around, so dinner was always convenient. Since my flight was late, I requested a two-hour check-out extension—the front desk staff handled it with a smile and zero hassle. The beds are firm, which actually works well for people with back pain or sciatica—my mom, who suffers from spinal issues, said she slept better here than anywhere else. Even I found the firm mattress surprisingly comfortable. Overall, the value for money is excellent. I’ll definitely be coming back.

The hotel is well located and very convenient for exploring Sanya, especially near the Eternal Love Show and duty-free shopping area. The room was clean, spacious, and offered great value for money. However, I’d strongly advise avoiding higher floors due to frequent helicopter flights overhead—on average, one passes by every 10–15 minutes, almost nonstop throughout the day. The noise can be quite disruptive, especially in the morning. Unfortunately, staff seemed unaware of this issue and couldn’t provide any clarification. That said, the hotel does offer free parking, which is a big plus for travelers driving their own cars. If you're sensitive to noise or planning a peaceful stay, choosing a lower floor would make a significant difference.
