Located just minutes from the city center, it's easy to explore local attractions by metro or on foot. Nearby restaurants and shopping options make it super convenient. What stood out most was the little touches—like a welcome note and complimentary refreshments—that made me feel truly valued as a guest. It’s clear this hotel cares about guest experience. I’d definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Chennai, and I’ll be back next time I’m in town.

Every interaction was smooth and courteous, whether checking in or asking for recommendations. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with all the essentials I needed. Location is great—close to public transit and local attractions, making it easy to explore Chennai. It’s rare to find such consistent service and attention to detail. I’d definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting the city. A heartfelt thank you to the entire team for making my trip so memorable!

Bhimaas Temple Tree

Staying at Bhimaas Temple Tree was a truly peaceful experience. The moment I arrived, I was drawn in by the serene atmosphere and the calming energy of the surrounding temple grounds. Nestled right near a historic temple, the hotel offers a quiet retreat from the hustle and bustle of city life. The natural setting is lush and green, with trees providing shade and a sense of privacy. The rooms are thoughtfully designed—simple yet authentic, blending local charm with modern comfort. I especially loved the quiet mornings, when the distant temple bells would echo through the air, creating a spiritual and meditative vibe. The location is convenient for exploring nearby attractions, and getting around town is easy whether by public transport or car. Overall, it’s a perfect choice for travelers seeking tranquility, cultural authenticity, and a genuine connection to nature. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a mindful getaway.

Green Grande Inn

Upon arrival, all AC rooms were fully booked, so I was offered a non-AC room temporarily with the promise of a room change later. When I tried to cancel my booking, they asked me to wait for two hours before they could arrange an AC room—this delay was a bit frustrating. I had booked a room with free breakfast, but unfortunately, it wasn’t served at all. The location is solid—easy access to local attractions and public transport. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout. If you're planning to stay here, I’d recommend contacting the property at least twice before your trip to confirm what’s included in your booking, especially regarding amenities like breakfast. Overall, the hotel isn’t bad—it's reasonably priced and well-located—but there’s definitely room for improvement in service reliability and communication.

Aasai Guest House

My stay at Aasai Guest House was underwhelming. The rooms were average in size and condition, but didn’t justify the price point. No breakfast included, which was a letdown for a budget-friendly option. There was no hot water kettle, and no facilities for tea or coffee—definitely inconvenient if you’re used to having a quick brew. Charging ports were placed too high, making it awkward to plug in devices while lying down or sitting. Some rooms are located on the far side of the building, where Wi-Fi signal is weak and other services aren’t consistently available. Overall, the experience felt inconsistent—basic amenities missing and service not up to par with what’s being charged. It’s okay for a short overnight stop, but not recommended if you're looking for comfort or reliability.

Hotel la Castle

The exterior of the hotel looked promising, but the reality was a big letdown. The lobby and rooms were visibly dirty, and the worst part? When I turned on the AC, rats came out from the vents—definitely not what you expect. Staff were indifferent at best. What really ruined the experience was being falsely accused of stealing a kettle during check-out. I even offered to let them search my bags since there wasn’t a kettle in the room to begin with. We had to wait in the reception area while they searched, only to find out later that the kettle had already been sent for repair. By the time it was sorted, I missed my bus and left feeling extremely upset. One front desk agent stared at me like I’d never seen a white woman before—deeply uncomfortable and disrespectful. If you're a white traveler, I’d strongly advise avoiding this place at all costs. This is definitely not a hotel I’ll ever stay at again.

Metro Park Residency

I visit Chennai every year with my father for medical appointments at SIMS Hospital in Vadapalani, and this hotel has been our go-to choice simply because it’s just a 2-minute walk from the hospital—convenient and practical. That’s really the only highlight. The rooms are on the smaller side, with an old mattress that sinks in the middle, a small cupboard, and a TV. The bathroom has hot water, but the shower head is broken and doesn’t work at all. The linens also have stains, which raised some concerns about cleanliness. The hotel does have a working elevator, but there’s no dedicated parking—only space for two cars, so we had to park on the main road, which isn’t ideal. However, the vegetarian restaurant on the ground floor serves delicious South Indian tiffin, and we’ve enjoyed it several times. It’s a small plus, but honestly, apart from location, there’s not much to recommend about the property.

Capital O 9259 Madurai Alagar

During my recent road trip from Chennai to Bhubaneswar, I stayed at Redfox Hotel for both the onward journey (evening of the 12th) and return (evening of the 20th). While I’m a Platinum member with the Lemontree group of hotels, it was the manager at Redfox, Mr. Premkumar, who truly made my experience exceptional. I simply called him to book a room for my preferred dates, and he not only handled the reservation seamlessly but also took care of every detail to ensure a comfortable stay. I was assigned Room 603, a spacious suite, at an affordable rate—yet everything in the room was well-equipped and thoughtfully arranged. The service felt more like royal treatment than just a hotel stay. From the bottom of my heart, thank you, Mr. Premkumar, and all the dedicated staff for your outstanding hospitality. This experience exceeded expectations, and I’ll definitely recommend this hotel to others.

Saaral Residency

My stay at Saaral Residency was absolutely excellent. Located right in the heart of Chennai, it's incredibly convenient for exploring the city—just a short walk to local attractions and public transport. The rooms were clean, well-maintained, and surprisingly comfortable for the price. The food served at the hotel was fresh and satisfying, making it easy to enjoy meals without leaving the property. I was pleasantly surprised to find a spa facility on-site—perfect for unwinding after a long day of sightseeing. Despite its great value and quality, this hotel is seriously underrated. If you're looking for a reliable, budget-friendly option with genuine hospitality and a central location, Saaral Residency is definitely worth considering.

The room was spotless, comfortable, and well-maintained, making for a restful night's sleep. The staff went above and beyond—Kannan, Banu Priya, Kanadhasan, and Ajith were incredibly friendly, attentive, and professional. Their warm hospitality truly made us feel at home. The food was exceptional—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The kitchen team clearly takes pride in their work. Every detail, from cleanliness to service, reflects a high standard. This place isn’t just good—it’s memorable. I’d highly recommend it to anyone visiting Chennai and will definitely be back soon.

The overall stay was excellent, especially the cleanliness of the room—right from the moment we walked in, it felt fresh and well-maintained. The complimentary breakfast was a nice touch, offering simple but satisfying options that were perfect to start the day. The location is convenient, just a short metro ride from the city center, and there are plenty of local eateries nearby for dinner. Staff were friendly and responsive, making check-in and any requests hassle-free. It's a great value choice for both business travelers and tourists looking for a clean, comfortable base in Chennai.

The staff were genuinely warm and helpful, offering local tips and even a small welcome gift.
