My stay at Grand Treat Hotel was disappointing overall. The room was much darker than the photos suggested—way more dim and uninviting than expected. The bedding was extremely dirty, with visible stains that made it hard to even consider lying down. There was also a strong, unpleasant odor throughout the room, almost like mildew, which lingered despite opening the windows. While the location is convenient for getting around Chennai—especially if you're relying on public transit—the condition of the room significantly impacted my experience. It felt under-maintained and poorly managed. For the price, I expected better cleanliness and lighting. Unfortunately, this wasn’t a good value, and I wouldn’t recommend it to others looking for a decent, comfortable stay.
