High-speed Wi-Fi kept everyone connected without lag, even during group video calls, and the fully equipped kitchen—including stove, microwave, dishwasher, and washing machine—made self-catering a breeze. The location is super easy to find, right near Badaguan Scenic Area. After a relaxing afternoon stroll around the area, you can simply head back to the hotel—perfect for a seamless day trip. If you're driving, the dedicated parking lot is a real game-changer; no stress hunting for a spot. The apartment sits right by the sea, and even on a cloudy morning, the misty coastal breeze gives it a peaceful, almost dreamy vibe. While we didn’t catch the sunrise, the atmosphere was still incredibly serene and beautiful. The room was spotless, well-maintained, and offered great value for the price. Waking up early lets you enjoy a quiet walk nearby, soaking in the fresh air and calm surroundings. Overall, this place strikes the perfect balance between comfort, convenience, and affordability—highly recommended for travelers who want a laid-back seaside escape.

Qingdao Sky Villa Hotel (May Fourth Square)

The hallway and bathroom could use a little update, but the room itself was spotless—so clean that even with my usual pickiness about hygiene, I felt completely at ease. The bedding was exceptionally clean and super comfortable, making for a restful night's sleep. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. Best of all, the view from the window is fantastic—overlooking May Fourth Square with great cityscape views during the day and beautiful lights at night. It’s such a pleasant place to stay, especially considering how well-priced it is. Definitely recommend this hidden gem.
