The room was spotless, modern, and very comfortable with a cozy bed and excellent air quality. Noise levels were minimal, which made for a peaceful night's sleep. I was truly impressed by how much you get for the rate—this place feels like a premium hotel without the premium price tag. Definitely coming back if I ever visit New Delhi again.

This was hands down the worst hotel experience I've ever had. We confirmed our arrival the day before, yet check-in was delayed despite the prior communication. To make matters worse, there was no hot water in the room—when I asked about it, the front desk staff suggested we could get some in a bucket. When I pointed out that basic hot water is a fundamental expectation in any hotel, she replied that 'no one asks for it in summer.' That’s not acceptable. We booked a 'premium' room with complimentary breakfast included—yet there was no breakfast at all. Instead, we were told to choose between pasta or aloo paratha. Opting for the fresh paratha, we were served half-cooked ones with a bowl of curd. When I asked if at least a pickle could be added, the staff brought out a single sachet, tore it open, and squeezed the contents directly onto my plate. This is supposed to be premium service? The next morning they offered poori and poha, but served in broken plastic bowls. How can a so-called premium hotel serve food in damaged utensils? The property is also completely inaccessible for wheelchair users—reaching the rooms requires navigating multiple levels via elevator from the reception, which makes it extremely difficult for elderly guests or those with mobility challenges. Even more shocking was the staff’s attitude when we requested two separate beds upon booking. Instead of simply confirming availability, they asked, 'You’re both ladies, why do you need separate beds?' That comment was deeply disrespectful and completely inappropriate. The TV had no signal, and nearly every amenity in the room was either broken or non-functional—including power outlets, toilet paper holders, shower doors, and bathroom exhaust fans. Calling this a premium hotel is misleading at best. This entire stay felt like a complete failure in hospitality. I won’t be returning, and I’d strongly advise others to avoid this property.

Tucked away behind a striking blue door in Hais Khaz Village, The Lazy Patio Homestay is a hidden gem in New Delhi. Though it’s on the 4th floor with no elevator to the rooftop, the effort is absolutely worth it. The host provided clear directions, making arrival stress-free. Pets are welcome—great for travelers with furry companions. We booked two rooms for a bachelorette celebration, and though we arrived a bit late, missing some of the evening charm, the morning view of the serene lake was unforgettable. The terrace layout features three rooms, including a stunning glass room that floods the space with natural light—perfect for photoshoots. There’s also a fully equipped kitchen, adding convenience and flexibility. The vibe here is calm, authentic, and quietly luxurious. If you’re looking for a peaceful retreat with great views, unique design, and a touch of local character, this is a must-visit. Highly recommended.

We stayed at the Minimalist Poshtel & Suites in New Delhi for one night and were pleasantly surprised by the upgrade. Our originally booked smaller rooms weren’t ready upon arrival, so we were upgraded to apartment-style rooms at no extra cost—definitely a highlight of our trip. The rooms are clean, well-maintained, and feature a modern Western design that feels both stylish and comfortable. One minor concern was the floor cleaning—some areas felt like they hadn’t been fully mopped, so we stuck to wearing the provided slippers. The main issue we faced was noise from the busy street early in the morning around 6 a.m., which could be disruptive. In the long run, better sound insulation would definitely improve the guest experience. That said, the staff were exceptional. They helped locate the hotel when our driver couldn’t find it (it’s quite tricky to reach), even walking back to our car to guide him personally. They also assisted with luggage—though an elevator is available, their effort made a big difference. Breakfast is served at a nearby restaurant owned by the hotel, offered à la carte. It’s affordable, and the food quality is solid—while breakfast options are somewhat limited, dinner choices are impressive and varied. I’ve noticed some other reviews seem overly harsh, especially about photos being edited. But honestly, all the amenities we saw were actually available and functional. A few small cosmetic imperfections or visible repairs are normal in most hotels—not just luxury ones—and didn’t impact our stay. For us, the comfort, service, and value outweighed these minor flaws. We’d definitely recommend this place for travelers seeking a quiet, stylish base in New Delhi.

This place isn't quite what the photos suggest—it's more of a standard budget option, and honestly, the room rates are fair for that. The official images seem to take some creative liberties; many rooms don’t actually have windows, and even when they do, views can be limited—mine overlooked a narrow alley facing another building’s windows, so blinds were kept closed most of the time. Breakfast is delivered straight to your room since there’s no dining area—just one small table in a lounge space. That said, breakfast arrives quickly and efficiently. No bar on-site, but the staff are genuinely friendly and helpful. If you're looking for something basic, clean, and low-cost with minimal frills, this might work for you. It’s not fancy, but it gets the job done.
