This place is absolutely incredible—10 out of 10 is not an exaggeration. From the moment we stepped in, the staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, especially William—his smile made our stay feel personal. The estate itself is huge and full of surprises: you can pet alpacas in their enclosure, rent a boat to glide around the winding pond, try your hand at clay pigeon shooting, or even book a horseback ride through the grounds. The rooms are exceptional—soft fabric walls, plush carpeting, well-designed wardrobes, and an incredibly comfortable bed. Opening the windows to hear birds sing at dawn was such a peaceful touch. High ceilings give a spacious feel, and even the standard room sizes are generous—not cramped like some places. Evening service is thoughtful: chilled water and a little chocolate waiting for you back in the room. Dining options are top-notch—both lunch and dinner offer delicious, varied menus, with an impressive wine list and a breakfast spread that’s truly unbeatable. The bathrobes are ridiculously soft—like hugging a cloud—and the bathroom design feels like art. Staying from December 31st to January 2nd was an absolute highlight of our trip. The staff were genuinely exceptional — warm, kind, and always ready to help. The manager stood out in particular; her welcoming smile and even her two friendly dogs made the stay feel incredibly personal and homely. We felt safe throughout, which was especially reassuring during New Year’s Eve. Our room was spotless, comfortable, and beautifully maintained, with a lovely ambiance that made it easy to relax. We also appreciated the complimentary high-quality wine during our stay — a small but thoughtful touch. The location is unbeatable: just a short walk from Galata, Galata Tower, and Karaköy. On New Year’s Eve, we walked safely to the Karaköy waterfront to enjoy the fireworks — no stress, no traffic, just perfect views and memories. This hotel truly delivers on comfort, service, and convenience.

Staying at Sub Karakoy - Special Category in Istanbul was an exceptional experience overall. The location is unbeatable—just a short walk from the metro and surrounded by great restaurants and local sights. The hotel itself is immaculately clean, and the staff went above and beyond with their friendly, attentive service. They truly made us feel welcome. The only downside was that the air conditioning in our room didn’t work properly, so we felt a bit chilly during the night and had to layer up with extra blankets. That said, it didn’t ruin the trip—especially considering how much value we got for the price. The ambiance, design, and attention to detail are top-notch. I’d absolutely stay here again and recommend it to any traveler visiting Istanbul.

Stayed at Faros Hotel Taksim for just one night, and it was absolutely perfect! The room was spotless, the bed was incredibly comfortable, and the blackout curtains made for great sleep. I appreciated the little touches like the bottle opener and ice cubes available at the front desk—thoughtful and convenient. Location-wise, it's unbeatable: just a short walk to Taksim Metro Station, right on the main square, making it easy to explore the city. The area has some hills and slopes, but getting to the hotel with luggage is manageable—just make sure your GPS is accurate (we got slightly lost at first and had to backtrack, which was a bit tiring!). There are plenty of cafés and eateries nearby, so dining options are never far away. Breakfast was nothing special, but filling enough. Overall, this hotel offers excellent value and a welcoming atmosphere—definitely a top choice for future visits.

Palazzo Donizetti Hotel - Special Class
Out of all the hotels I've stayed in Istanbul, this one stands out as my absolute favorite. We arrived around 11 a.m., and although check-in wasn't officially until 2 p.m., the front desk staff was incredibly accommodating—let us check in right away! After an 11-hour flight, being able to settle in early made such a difference; it felt genuinely thoughtful and welcoming. One of the staff members even helped carry our bags—though we didn’t have cash on hand to tip him, which we regretted later. We had hoped to stay for the full duration, but unfortunately, no rooms were available for the remaining days. That said, the hotel itself is stunning—rich European-style architecture, elegant decor, and spacious, well-appointed rooms. The restaurant on the ground floor has a sweet, friendly staff member who waved and even gave me a little heart gesture—when I left, we hugged like old friends! It’s rare to feel such genuine warmth from a hotel team. From ambiance to service, everything exceeded expectations. If I ever return to Istanbul, this will be my first choice again. 10/10 experience—highly recommend!

Staying at Freya Hotel was an excellent experience. The location is fantastic—just a 5-minute walk from the metro, tram, and ferry stations across the Golden Horn and Bosphorus Strait. There's also a port nearby, making it super convenient for exploring the city. The room was spotlessly clean with daily housekeeping, and breakfast was solid, though slightly repetitive if you're staying for a full week. The staff were attentive and always ready to help. One of the highlights was the free pool on the second basement floor—perfect for a daily swim. I also enjoyed the sauna and steam room (15 EUR), which added a nice touch to my stay. Overall, this hotel delivers great value for money. Highly recommended and I’d definitely come back.
