We stayed at Galaxie Hotel as part of a group trip, and honestly, the experience was far from what we expected. The room felt outdated—furniture looked worn, and the bathroom was in poor condition, with tiles loosening and fixtures barely holding together. Dinner service was disappointing: if you arrived even slightly late, there was almost nothing left, and no additional food was provided. The bar claimed to be open until 11 PM, but after dinner, it was locked up completely—no drinks available. Outside the hotel, there wasn’t much to do, especially in the evening. Prague itself is beautiful, but this location felt isolated and disconnected from the city’s charm. The photos online were misleading—very attractive, but reality was a big letdown. We’d definitely choose a hotel closer to the city center next time. It’s not just about comfort—it’s about being able to enjoy the destination, and this place didn’t deliver on that.

Our apartment had modern furnishings, a huge bathroom with both a bathtub and shower, plus an extra room with a toilet and small sink—very convenient. We were six people, and there was plenty of room: two single beds in the living area and two double rooms, so everyone had their own space. But what really stood out was the host—he was incredibly kind, helpful, and generous. He provided an amazing array of food: eggs, milk, various types of muesli, unlimited bread, cold cuts, and cheese. With all that, we managed to enjoy breakfast and even lunch at the apartment—no need to go out! It’s just a 10-minute walk to the Andel metro station, making it easy to get to the airport, the city center, and Charles Bridge on foot. Everything was super convenient, and we left feeling completely satisfied. I highly recommend this apartment—it’s a gem!

Nestled right at the end of Charles Bridge, it’s a short walk from all the major sights and just steps away from a peaceful riverside park—perfect for a morning jog. The rooms are spacious, modern, and immaculately clean, offering real comfort after a day of exploring. The staff went above and beyond, especially Helena, who was incredibly attentive and helpful throughout our stay. Breakfast was delicious, and the dining area stayed open all day—a great spot to unwind with tea and homemade biscuits in the afternoon. With elevator access, restaurants just outside the door, and a grocery store only a three-minute stroll away, our five-day visit felt effortlessly relaxing. This hotel strikes the perfect balance between convenience, comfort, and charm. I’d highly recommend Bishop’s House to anyone visiting Prague—it’s truly a standout choice.
