Every time I visit Nanjing, I make sure to stay at Shangri-La—it’s simply my go-to. This trip was for a friend’s birthday, and we took the chance to explore the stunning maple leaves at Qixia Mountain, golden ginkgo trees by Xuanwu Lake, Yanyue Lake, Stone Elephant Road, and the famous plane tree avenue. Perfect timing, perfect weather, and perfect vibes! The room arranged by Manager Dong was exceptional—comfortable, elegant, and thoughtfully prepared. Dining at Jiangnan Zao was a highlight: the ingredients were fresh and top-notch. The pickled turnip with preserved vegetables was surprisingly delicious, the fish head incredibly fresh, and the sweet-and-sour ribs? Absolutely unforgettable. My friend devoured the stir-fried beef in no time—proof it was a hit! Bonus: guests staying at the hotel can enjoy complimentary room service from Jiangnan Zao—even if you’re not on the waitlist. Plus, the Christmas decorations were beautifully done, adding a magical touch to the entire stay. Honestly, I’m already planning my next visit—Shangri-La truly wins my heart every time.

When we initially found the room wasn’t ready, she immediately took charge—coordinating with housekeeping, keeping us updated, and even helping move our luggage into the room as soon as it was clean. The executive room was spacious, well-appointed, and incredibly comfortable. The executive lounge was a highlight—elegant atmosphere, great views, and the complimentary snacks were delicious and thoughtfully presented. Every detail felt cared for, and the level of personal attention made this stay truly memorable. This is exactly what luxury hospitality should be. 10/10 experience—highly recommend!

On New Year’s Day, our room was beautifully set with welcome fruits, and they were restocked throughout our stay along with refreshing drinks—so thoughtful. The rooms were spacious, with smart bathroom layout and top-quality bedding that made for an incredibly peaceful night’s sleep, completely quiet and cozy. We also tried the hotel’s spa, and the therapist’s technique was excellent—very relaxing and professional. During our time in Nanjing, we explored some local highlights and enjoyed authentic street food, all of which added to the joyful atmosphere. Everyone in the family had a wonderful time. The hotel truly lives up to the Hilton standard—excellent service, attention to detail, and outstanding value for money. I stayed here for Pu Yixing's concert at the Olympic Sports Center, and the hotel’s location was perfect—just a 10-minute walk to the venue. There were also shared bikes nearby, which made getting there even faster and more convenient. The room had a window, and I really appreciated that the sink and bathroom were separated—so much more practical and private. The bedding was comfortable and cozy, making for a great night’s sleep. There are plenty of food delivery options around, so dinner was never an issue. Overall, this was a fantastic stay with excellent value, and I’d definitely choose this hotel again when visiting Nanjing.
