The hotel was exceptionally clean and the room was both comfortable and well-maintained. Even though it’s a 30-minute bus ride from downtown Bologna, the bus stop is just steps away—making transit super convenient. The location might be a bit off the beaten path, but everything else about the stay made up for it. Excellent value, great staff, and a peaceful atmosphere. I’d definitely come back if I’m visiting Bologna again.

Arrived at Bologna Airport at 9:30 PM and was glad to find the hotel offers shuttle service to and from the airport, with convenient departures both early morning and late night. The room was spotless, spacious, and surprisingly comfortable—especially the bathtub, which made for a relaxing soak after a long flight. Cleanliness, comfort, and thoughtful touches really stood out. The location is great, staff were friendly, and overall value is excellent. I’d definitely stay here again on future visits to Bologna and highly recommend it to fellow travelers.

Staying at Hotel Astoria in Bologna was an absolute delight. The location is unbeatable—right in the heart of the city, just a short walk from the train station, making it super convenient for exploring on foot or hopping on public transit. There's a grocery store right around the corner, perfect for grabbing snacks or essentials. My single room was surprisingly spacious, with a comfortable bed that made for a restful night’s sleep. The modern bathroom was clean and well-equipped, and the housekeeping staff were friendly and attentive. Breakfast was a highlight—so many options! I loved the slushies, iced coffee, pistachio cream, fresh fruit, and classic Italian pastries and egg dishes. The automated coffee machine served high-quality brews, and the best part? You can enjoy breakfast outside on the terrace. Sipping coffee under the sun while watching the world go by felt so authentically European. This hotel delivers excellent value and a memorable stay.

Staying at Hotel San Felice was an absolute delight—perfectly located just steps away from Piazza Maggiore, making it easy to explore the heart of Bologna on foot. The staff went above and beyond with their warm hospitality, making us feel right at home. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-appointed, and the central location meant we could easily access restaurants, shops, and attractions without needing transport. It’s rare to find such a charming, quiet retreat in such a vibrant city center. Highly recommend this gem for anyone visiting Bologna.

Our stay at Marconi Apartments was absolutely wonderful. The location is perfect—just a short walk from Bologna’s top attractions, making it super easy to explore the city on foot. The apartment itself was spacious, bright, and beautifully equipped with everything we needed. The kitchen was especially functional, allowing us to prepare our own meals and save money while enjoying local flavors. The staff were incredibly welcoming and shared great tips that helped us discover hidden gems around town. From start to finish, the experience was seamless and memorable. I highly recommend Marconi Apartments for anyone looking to enjoy a comfortable, authentic stay in Bologna.

Staying at Residence Porta Saragozza was an absolute delight! The location is perfect—just a short walk from the city center and close to the stadium, making it easy to explore everything on foot. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our visit. The building itself is spotless, quiet, and well-maintained, offering a peaceful retreat after a busy day. Our apartment had a lovely little balcony—perfect for morning coffee with a view. Clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed, this place truly stands out. I’d highly recommend it to anyone visiting Bologna. A fantastic choice for both comfort and convenience!

The Affittacamere Rizzoli is perfectly located—just a short walk from the historic center, so you’re close to all major attractions and public transport options. My room was spacious and comfortable, though I did experience some water leakage during a heavy rainstorm. The staff responded quickly and promptly arranged a room change, which, while slightly lower in category, still felt well-maintained and welcoming—definitely earned them an extra half-point. The bathroom is on the smaller side, but functional. The small interior garden is charming and adds a quiet, peaceful touch. One major plus: they offer a paid parking garage, which is incredibly convenient for travelers driving in. Overall, it was a delightful stay with great value for money. I’d happily return and recommend this hidden gem to others.

The Hotel Conte Luna is a charming and clean stay with friendly staff—definitely a solid choice for a short visit. The only downside is its location right next to the highway and railway line, which can lead to some noise from traffic and trains. That said, with a good pair of earplugs, this issue is easily managed. Overall, it’s a great value for travelers looking for a convenient base in Bologna, especially if you’re planning to explore the city center by public transit. I’d recommend it for budget-conscious guests who prioritize comfort and location over complete silence.

The location was perfect, but everything else was absolutely disappointing. The entire apartment was filthy and had a terrible smell—no sponge even for washing dishes, the shower reeked of sewage, and the drain was clearly broken. The windows wouldn’t open at all. Honestly, how can you charge guests this much and offer such poor service? It’s embarrassing. I’m seriously wondering if they’re even trying. For me, this place should just close down.

Staying at this B&B was an absolute delight. The host was incredibly warm and helpful—she went out of her way to recommend local restaurants, assist with bookings, and share insider tips on must-visit spots around Bologna. Breakfast was a highlight: a delicious mix of cured meats, cheeses, creams, and fresh pastries, which she mentioned is a true Bolognese tradition. The room was spotless, cozy, and well-maintained. Best of all, bus stops are right outside the property, with lines 11a and 11b offering easy access to the city center. Perfect for travelers who want convenience, charm, and a personal touch. Highly recommended!

The stay was exactly what I expected—comfortable, welcoming, and well-located. The host was incredibly kind and made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The room was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. It's just a short walk to the city center, and public transit is super convenient if you're planning to explore more of Bologna. The neighborhood is lively with great dining options nearby—perfect for an evening stroll after dinner. Overall, this little gem offers fantastic value and warmth. Would absolutely book again and highly recommend to anyone visiting Bologna.

I stayed one night at Hotel Marco Polo during a quick trip through Bologna. There’s no traditional front desk—instead, you call ahead and the housekeeping staff member personally opens the door for you. The key collection is done via a secure lockbox with a code—very convenient and hassle-free. No elevator, but since I was traveling light, it wasn’t an issue. The room was clean, spacious, and well-maintained. Located just under 4 km from the city center, it’s easy to reach by foot or public transport. Overall, I had a positive experience. The unique self-check-in system works smoothly, and the location is ideal for exploring the heart of Bologna. If I ever return to the city, I’d definitely consider booking here again.
