Plus, the property is conveniently close to the metro, making it easy to explore Bologna without hassle. This stay exceeded all expectations—comfortable, charming, and full of authentic Italian hospitality. I’ll definitely be coming back.

We stayed in the ground-floor Portrait Room, which was spacious and beautifully appointed: marble mosaic flooring, high ceilings, antique furnishings, and a stunning vintage bathtub in the bathroom. The property is surrounded by a large, peaceful garden filled with birdsong and cicadas—perfect for unwinding after a day exploring the city. It’s well located too—just a 20-minute walk to the city center, and there's a bus stop right nearby, making public transport easy. The welcome was warm and personal, and the breakfast was exceptional—freshly baked pastries, homemade cakes, and a lovely selection of treats. On-site parking is available, which is a big plus. One thing to note: the room doesn’t have air conditioning or a fridge, just a ceiling fan, so it might feel warm during summer months. However, the overall atmosphere, unique setting, and attention to detail make up for it. At €200 per night, it’s not the cheapest option, but you truly get what you pay for—a one-of-a-kind experience that’s worth every euro.
