For instance, Hotel Artemide and Hotel de' Neri do not have on-site parking. However, they offer partnerships with nearby commercial garages, with rates ranging from €35 to €50 per night. We recommend using public transit or walking to avoid high parking fees and difficulty finding spots.

Some luxury hotels may provide reserved parking, but this comes at an additional cost. Therefore, if traveling by car, it’s essential to contact the hotel in advance to confirm parking arrangements. A more economical option is to park outside the city center and take the metro into Rome, ensuring hassle-free access while saving money.

Hotel dei Borgognoni

Staying at Hotel dei Borgognoni in Rome was an absolute delight—far beyond my expectations. Located right in the heart of the city, it’s a walkable paradise: just steps from the Spanish Steps, with shopping, dining, and sightseeing all within easy reach. I loved exploring on foot, especially with Rome’s 12% tax refund making shopping even more rewarding. The area is packed with authentic local gems—there’s a whole street dedicated to pasta and a fantastic pizzeria just around the corner. The only thing you might need a quick ride for is Vatican City—about 20 minutes away—but honestly, that small effort doesn’t take away from the overall experience. The room itself was spacious, spotlessly clean, and incredibly quiet, which made it perfect for unwinding after a long day of sightseeing. The staff were friendly, helpful, and always ready to assist with luggage storage and recommendations. Breakfast was simple but delicious—enough to fuel a full day of exploring. With its unbeatable location, great value, and warm hospitality, this hotel is now my top pick for any future trip to Rome. If you’re planning a visit, don’t miss this gem—it’s truly one of the best places to stay in the city.

Bettoja Hotel Mediterraneo

Staying at Bettoja Hotel Mediterraneo in Rome was a mixed experience. The location is excellent—walking distance to great restaurants and close to several major attractions, making it super convenient for exploring the city. The room we booked was a twin, which was on the smaller side, but cleanliness was decent overall. One downside was the shower setup—it had only a fixed head, no handheld option, which made showering a bit awkward. The front desk service was disappointing; when we requested a room change due to the tiny single room (bed too small, shower cramped), the night staff said no rooms were available and we’d have to wait until the next day and pay extra. However, the next morning, a different staff member quoted a completely different price, which felt inconsistent and frustrating. Despite these issues, the hotel’s central location really makes up for it. If you’re looking for convenience and easy access to Rome’s highlights, this place is still worth considering, even with its flaws.

Bettoja Hotel Atlantico

Staying at Bettoja Hotel Atlantico felt like stepping into a piece of living history—this place has been around for nearly a century, and the old-world charm is absolutely palpable. The architecture and interior design are elegant and timeless, with a genuine sense of character that you don’t often find in modern hotels. Location-wise, it’s unbeatable: just a 3-minute walk from Roma Termini Station, making it super convenient for arrivals, departures, and exploring the city on foot. The vintage elevator is a standout feature—it requires manually opening the outer door, but once inside, it runs smoothly and adds such a unique, nostalgic touch. That said, one thing to note is the limited number of power outlets; there are only two in the entire room—one in the main space and another in the bathroom—which can be a bit tricky if you're traveling with multiple devices. Still, the overall experience was exceptional. The blend of history, comfort, and central location makes this hotel a real gem in Rome. Highly recommended for travelers who appreciate authenticity and convenience.

Staying at Bettoja Hotel Massimo d'Azeglio was a real highlight during my trip to Rome. The hotel is just a 5-minute walk from the train station, making it incredibly convenient for travelers arriving by rail or planning to explore the city with ease. The room was spotlessly clean, quiet, and well-maintained—perfect for a restful night's sleep. I appreciated the little touches like the electric kettle, which made brewing tea or coffee a breeze. Breakfast offered a good variety of standard options, nothing fancy but reliable and satisfying. Overall, the location, comfort, and attention to detail make this a fantastic choice for anyone visiting Rome who values convenience and a home-like atmosphere. I’d definitely stay here again.

Palazzo Scanderbeg

Staying at Palazzo Scanderbeg felt like stepping from ancient Rome into a modern, lived-in space with soul. What surprised me most was how genuinely residential it feels—unlike many hotels in the city center, this place has a real sense of everyday life, not just tourist vibes. The breakfast was thoughtfully delivered by staff: fresh bread, seasonal fruit, rich coffee, and warm dishes—all done with care, not ceremony, making mornings feel truly special. The fully equipped kitchenette is a game-changer—whether I wanted to brew coffee, slice up some fruit, or heat something simple, everything was easy and stress-free. Even better? Free sparkling water, mineral water, beer, juice, and yogurt were restocked daily—no need to run out for anything. The room itself is spacious, quiet, and beautifully designed, yet just a short walk from Trevi Fountain. Perfect balance between convenience and comfort. This isn’t just a hotel—it’s a place where you actually feel like you’re living in Rome. If you're looking for a stylish, authentic stay right in the heart of the city, Palazzo Scanderbeg deserves a top spot on your list.

Staying at the Best Western Ars Hotel was a delightful experience overall. Located just a 5-minute walk from the bus stop, it’s convenient for getting around Rome—though the uphill location can be a bit challenging when walking with luggage. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, going out of their way to assist with bags and directions. The room was on the smaller side but well-designed and fully equipped, making it comfortable and practical. The bathroom stood out—stylish and clean, though the shower enclosure was a little tight. Breakfast was one of the highlights: a generous buffet with fresh, high-quality options that made for a perfect start to the day. Despite the slight elevation, the hotel's charm, excellent service, and great value make it a solid choice for travelers who want to explore Rome without sacrificing comfort.
