The Sutton Place Hotel Vancouver

Arriving at the hotel from the airport via SkyTrain was incredibly convenient—no transfers needed, and we were there in no time. The hotel’s location is perfect, right on a main street with a large shopping center just steps away, making dining and shopping super easy. There's also a taxi stand right outside, which made getting around hassle-free. We arrived at 10 a.m., and not only were we given an early check-in, but our room was upgraded too—so we could relax straight away without waiting. The facilities are excellent: a well-equipped gym, a lovely indoor pool, and everything you’d expect from a top-tier hotel. What really stood out was the bathroom—having a flexible showerhead that can be adjusted freely made washing hair so much easier. And the hairdryer? Not some tiny one that barely dries long hair—it actually works! I’ve already decided this will be my go-to hotel whenever I visit Vancouver again. A truly outstanding stay.

La Grande Residence at the Sutton Place Hotel

The deposit refund process at this hotel was by far the fastest I've experienced abroad. I received confirmation of my refund well before check-out, and the entire procedure was smooth and transparent—no stress at all. Located just a short walk from downtown Vancouver, it's incredibly convenient for getting around via public transit. The area is packed with great dining options and local shops. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout, and the value for money was outstanding. I’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Vancouver.

The mattress struck the perfect balance between soft and firm, making for a restful night’s sleep. As a plus, my sea-view room offered stunning views of the harbour and open water—especially magical during sunrise and sunset, when the light painted the sky in warm hues. The bathroom was stocked with quality amenities, the hot water came on strong and steady, and everything felt thoroughly clean. It’s clear this hotel cares about guest comfort and attention to detail. I’ll definitely be returning next time I’m in Vancouver.

EXchange Hotel Vancouver

Stayed at EXchange Hotel Vancouver for four nights and had a great experience overall. The rooms were spotlessly clean, staff were friendly and helpful throughout our visit. The only minor downside was the mattress—it’s quite soft, which is actually common across most hotels in Canada, especially if you have back issues. We ended up sleeping directly on the bed frame instead, which worked better for us. Location-wise, it’s excellent—both SkyTrain lines converge right nearby, making it super easy to get around the city without needing to transfer. One thing worth noting: water pressure is a bit low, but that’s something I’ve noticed in several Canadian hotels too, so it’s not unique here. All things considered, this place offers fantastic value, convenience, and comfort for travelers who want a central, no-fuss stay in Vancouver.
