This was by far the best hotel experience on my trip to Italy. The location is unbeatable—just a 7-8 minute walk or short transit from Venice train station, with no hills or stairs, making it super easy to navigate with luggage. The room was spacious and bright, easily fitting two 30-inch suitcases without feeling cramped. All amenities were well-stocked: toiletries, slippers, and extras were plentiful and regularly replenished. The bathroom was clean, modern, and spotless. While not in the very heart of the city, it’s perfectly situated for exploring Venice at your own pace—walking distance to major sights, and right across from a bus stop, which made getting around effortless. The staff were warm, friendly, and communicated clearly in English. The only minor downside? The breakfast buffet offered limited options, but you can order a free plate of classics like scrambled eggs or omelets, which is common for Italian hotels. Still, this didn’t take away from the overall fantastic stay. Highly recommend for travelers who value comfort, convenience, and authentic local charm.

And let’s talk about the café cookies—they were absolutely delicious: buttery, fresh, and just the right amount of sweetness. I ended up buying a few to take home. The location is excellent for exploring Venice on foot or by metro, and the value for money is fantastic. I’d definitely return.

Staying at Residenza Venezia was a truly delightful experience. Even though it's just a short walk from the main street, stepping into the hotel instantly feels like entering a peaceful retreat—far removed from the crowds and noise. The check-in location is actually right next door to the listed address, so no confusion at all. The front desk staff was incredibly welcoming, beautiful, and spoke fluent English—making communication effortless. I arrived around 10:30 AM, and she checked my room status, which was already ready, so she kindly offered early check-in (normally not until 2 PM). She also took time to share local customs and marked key spots on a map—so thoughtful! Just 300 meters left from the hotel leads straight to the waterfront, where you can see distant snow-capped mountains in the distance—absolutely stunning during the day. Night views are more modest. The room itself is small but immaculately clean and well-equipped—true 'small but perfect' design. And the breakfast? Fantastic! A generous spread with excellent quality, fresh ingredients, and delicious flavors. Overall, this place offers incredible value for money. If you're visiting Venice, this is definitely a top choice—you won’t regret it.
