Staying at Hotel Nikko San Francisco was an absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish. During breakfast, I went to grab an extra serving of fruit and noticed that the dishes left on the table had already been cleared—slightly surprising at first, but I’m sure it was just a misunderstanding since we hadn’t fully left yet. A quick verbal note like 'We’re still here' would’ve helped avoid any confusion. That said, it didn’t take away from the overall great impression. What truly stood out was the evening check-out for my late-night flight. I called an Uber, but felt uneasy about walking outside the hotel due to the area’s vibe. Thankfully, a staff member walked me all the way to the car and stayed until I was safely inside. That small gesture made me feel incredibly safe and valued. The level of hospitality throughout the entire stay was exceptional—thoughtful, attentive, and genuinely warm. This isn’t just a hotel; it’s a place where you feel cared for. I’ll definitely be back.

We stayed in Glasgow for a few days and stopped by this hotel for breakfast—had no expectations going in, but was pleasantly surprised. On Friday, April 21st at 10:15 AM, a guest from another building at the hotel climbed over the fence between units 179 and 173, entered our private driveway area, then climbed over our fence and left toward Wiese Street, heading toward 16th Street. We immediately called 911. The situation was alarming and unsettling. While police responded promptly, the incident raised serious concerns about property security and safety protocols. It's important to note that making assumptions based on someone's background is not only inappropriate but also harmful. As guests, we expect the hotel to maintain a secure environment for all. We hope management will take immediate action to improve fencing, surveillance, and overall safety measures to prevent future incidents.
