Stayed at Life Space apartment with my daughter for five wonderful days. The location couldn’t be better—just a 5-minute walk to Gor'kovskaya metro station, and the Peter and Paul Fortress is within easy reach on foot. There are plenty of shops, cafes, and green spaces nearby, making daily life super convenient. The apartment was spotless and well-maintained throughout our stay. The beds were comfortable with soft lighting, and the mattresses were firm and supportive—perfect for a good night’s sleep. A working air conditioner kept things cool, and the kitchen was fully equipped with a fridge, freezer, microwave, gas stove, cookware, kettle, tea, and coffee—ideal for preparing meals. We had no issues with bathroom availability; there were enough facilities for all guests, and no queues ever formed. The host couple, Roman and Maria, were incredibly welcoming and helpful—they answered every question with warmth and care. Their attention to detail and genuine hospitality made us feel right at home. This place offers excellent value and comfort. I highly recommend it without hesitation.

We've visited Matisov Domik twice now and are already counting down the days to return. From the moment we arrived, everything felt thoughtfully designed — spotless rooms, genuine hospitality, and a serene atmosphere that made us feel truly at home. The spacious accommodations were well-equipped with a kettle and tea set; it would be lovely to see coffee sachets and dried cream included too. Each guest received bottled water upon arrival, plus a cozy robe — small touches that made a big difference. The lobby is beautifully adorned with art, giving the place an elegant, cultural vibe. Breakfast was exceptional — diverse, delicious, and always satisfying, especially the mouthwatering baked casserole. They even cooked eggs to order when requested. The rooms are incredibly quiet, thanks to excellent sound insulation, and the beds and pillows provided a restful night's sleep every time. There’s also private parking on-site, which is a huge plus for those traveling by car. We were pleasantly surprised by the included dinner — such a convenient and welcoming gesture. On our first visit, we checked in late at night, and the staff kindly packed a takeaway dinner for us at checkout the next morning. That unexpected care really stood out — proof of their professionalism and attention to detail. It felt like being treated like valued guests, leaving behind warm memories and a strong desire to come back again.

Stayed here with friends and we were genuinely blown away! Every little detail was thoughtfully designed for guests—absolutely incredible atmosphere, and the staff couldn’t have been more welcoming. We loved everything and will definitely return. Unfortunately, the hotel is only open to guests 18+, which was a bit of a bummer. The room itself feels like a cozy cabin nestled within the property, making you feel far from typical Russia—so unique and immersive. High ceilings, a massive TV, and a spacious layout made it incredibly comfortable. Thanks for the quality toiletries and hairdryer—great touches! A few small downsides: the bathroom was quite dark, so applying makeup was tricky; we could hear footsteps and door slams from above, which slightly disturbed the quiet. It was our 15th wedding anniversary, and while they did bring a bottle of prosecco in an ice bucket by the TV, there was no card or sweet treat—felt like a missed opportunity to make it special. Check-in was chaotic—we were handed keys without clear info about room assignments, and there was confusion about who was staying where (we ended up switched around). We’d read online about a mini tour upon arrival, but nothing happened—everything felt rushed and impersonal. No real interest shown in us as guests. Breakfast was another disappointment—it’s an extra charge, and the server just dropped the menu on the table and walked off without explaining anything. For example, one drink option listed didn’t clarify what it actually was. Our foreign friends were surprised and confused. Even when we asked politely for a table not near the low sofa, the response was just “pick one yourself”—a simple suggestion would’ve gone a long way, especially since we were first-time visitors. However, the evening service was a total highlight. There was a lovely young woman with short black hair (we didn’t catch her name), who was absolutely perfect—so attentive, warm, and detailed in her explanations and recommendations. She truly made us feel welcome. And kudos to the chef—our dinner was outstanding, perfectly cooked and delicious. Overall, this villa is magical. Despite a few hiccups, the positives far outweigh the negatives. We’re already planning our next visit!

Cleanliness is top-notch: fresh towels and linens are changed daily, and every day brings two bottles of water, tea, sugar, and essential toiletries—no need to worry about anything missing. Hot water runs consistently without any interruptions, which is always a plus. One standout feature is the fully equipped kitchen on the floor—fridge, microwave, kettle, and all the cookware you'd need. There's even ice in the fridge for champagne, perfect for a little celebration! A small table stocked with snacks, drinks, and even complimentary wine by request adds a nice personal touch. The only minor drawback is some sound transmission—common in older residential buildings across the city—but this isn't unique to this hotel. Guests just need to keep things quiet after 11 PM, especially when walking around. As for location? It’s unbeatable. In just 30 seconds, you’re standing right in front of the Admiralty, the Winter Palace, and the stunning Isaac’s Cathedral. And it’s only a 20-minute walk along Nevsky Prospekt to the nearest metro station. Everything is within reach, making it incredibly convenient for exploring the heart of St. Petersburg. This hotel offers comfort, charm, and excellent value—highly recommended.

The hotel was beautifully decorated, full of festive spirit, and we received so many thoughtful surprises and gifts—it felt like a real holiday magic! Breakfast was excellent—plenty of variety, fresh, and delicious. Every little touch showed how much care went into making our stay special. Honestly, it’s hard to find any flaws because everything was just perfect. This is more than a hotel—it felt like a home away from home. I highly recommend Herzen House to anyone visiting Saint Petersburg who wants an unforgettable experience.

There’s even a gas bank nearby for cash exchange—super convenient for travelers. A small bar and a souvenir shop are within walking distance too, so you’ve got everything you need right around the corner. The entrance might look modest, but don’t worry—just press button 16 on the intercom and they’ll let you in without delay. It truly made our trip unforgettable.

Staying at Casa Leto Mini-Hotel in Saint Petersburg felt like hitting the jackpot for location and comfort. It’s perfectly situated—within walking distance of the Hermitage, Nevsky Prospekt, the riverfront, St. Isaac’s Cathedral, and the Mariinsky Theatre. Every major attraction was just a short stroll away, which made our days so much more convenient. The room we had (the largest one) was easily one of the biggest city hotel rooms I’ve ever stayed in—spacious enough for three or four people, with a curtain dividing it into two zones. Clean, warm, and tastefully decorated, it felt more like a home than a hotel. I especially appreciated the Motlon Brown shower products—they made the morning routine feel luxurious. Breakfast was continental, but they’ll cook scrambled or boiled eggs fresh upon request. What really stood out? Food and soft drinks were available all day long—perfect for a quick cup of tea and a slice of toast to warm up in the afternoon, all included in the room rate. And let’s talk about the free international calls to landlines from your room—this was something I’d never experienced before in a city hotel, and it was incredibly helpful. The staff were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to assist: they even helped us book dinner at Teplo (a must-try, just a 5-minute walk across from St. Isaac’s). We also left our bags behind for the whole day and returned later for a late-afternoon snack and tea before heading to Moscow—no hassle at all. This place truly delivers on comfort, convenience, and hospitality.

We stayed here as a family of three, and it was the perfect choice! The room was spacious, cozy, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable family trip—especially great for kids. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the attention to detail made us feel right at home. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, offering local tips and directions that made exploring the city easy. We initially booked just a few days, but when we realized how much we loved it—especially during the National Day holiday period—we were disappointed to find out the hotel was fully booked for the remaining days. We had to switch to another place last minute. That said, this experience only confirms that we’ll definitely book here again on our next visit to St. Petersburg. It’s not just convenient—it’s truly special.
