Hamilton Hotel Blue

The hotel is a bit of a walk from the station, but I was really happy to book it at a great deal during a holiday. Right when I walked into the room, I noticed the private sink — such a thoughtful touch that made the space feel more spacious and convenient. The only small downside is that breakfast ends at 6:00 AM, which was too early for me since I had an early JR express train the next morning. I didn’t get a chance to enjoy a proper breakfast, which was a bummer. That said, overall this place is fantastic — clean, well-maintained, and offers excellent value for money. The staff are friendly, the room is cozy, and it’s perfect for travelers who want a quiet, comfortable stay without breaking the bank. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for a hassle-free, no-frills experience in Nagoya.

Hamilton Hotel Black

The room isn’t huge, but it’s clean and well-maintained. What impressed me most was the self-service amenity station in the lobby—everything from makeup remover to face masks was available. I ended up staying last minute with absolutely nothing packed, and these little extras made my stay so much easier. No need to panic or run to a convenience store. The neighborhood is also super convenient—plenty of local izakayas and ramen shops nearby. Even if you’re not a foodie, you’ll find something tasty within walking distance. Overall, a great experience with excellent value for money. I’d definitely book again next time I’m in Nagoya.

They patiently answered all my questions and helped with any requests. The room itself was spotlessly clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. Nagoya Creston Hotel

Staying at Nagoya Creston Hotel was an absolute delight. Located right in the heart of Nagoya, it's just a short walk from major attractions like Nagoya Castle and Atsuta Shrine—perfect for exploring the city without hassle. The hotel itself offers everything you could want: a restaurant, a cozy bar, a well-equipped gym, and even a swimming pool. My room was spacious and comfortable, with a relaxing bathtub—a real treat after a long day of sightseeing. I especially appreciated the complimentary breakfast, which had a great variety of options and tasted delicious. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Plus, being near Parco and Dōsu Shopping Street means there’s no shortage of dining, shopping, and entertainment right outside the door. The nearby Nagoya City Science Museum is also a hit if you're traveling with kids. Parking costs 1,200 JPY, which isn’t cheap, but considering the central location and excellent facilities, it’s worth every yen. 24-hour check-in is a huge plus for late arrivals or early departures. Overall, this hotel delivers outstanding value and comfort—definitely one of the best stays I’ve had in Nagoya.

Hotel Landmark Nagoya

The room was spotless and the bathroom was clean and well-maintained—really made the stay comfortable. I especially appreciated the ample space to lay out my carry-on luggage, which made unpacking a breeze. The area around the hotel gets quite lively in the evening, but I did notice it felt a bit less safe at night. Still, the overall experience was excellent, with great value for money. A solid choice if you're looking for convenience and cleanliness in central Nagoya.

Nagoya Garland Hotel

The service at Nagoya Garland Hotel is exceptional—attentive, friendly, and always ready to help. While the facilities show a bit of age, the room layout is practical and well thought out, making the most of the space. Located right in the heart of the bustling city, it’s surrounded by an amazing variety of restaurants, so dining options are never far away. It’s just a short walk to Don Quijote and the Sakae subway station, making getting around town super convenient. With its great location and warm hospitality, this hotel offers excellent value for money. I’d definitely stay here again if I return to Nagoya.

Yuki Hotel

Staying at Yuki Hotel was a mixed experience. The location is very convenient—just a short walk from Fushimi Station, with easy access even when carrying luggage. However, the entrance requires climbing a few steps, so it’s not fully barrier-free. The front desk is on the second floor, and there’s only one elevator, which means you always have to go up and down if you’re staying on the second floor—slightly inconvenient. Fushimi Station is in a business district, and there are several restaurants nearby for dining options. There's also a 7-Eleven right across the street in an adjacent building, which makes getting essentials super easy. The room itself is quite small, with outdated furnishings and minimal amenities—basically just the basics. What stood out most was the sound of traffic from the street outside. It’s not extremely loud, but it’s noticeable even at night, which affected my sleep quality. Overall, the hotel works for a quick overnight stay or travelers with low expectations, but it’s not ideal if you value peace and quiet or modern comfort.

Trip & Sleep Hostel

Staying at Trip & Sleep Hostel in Nagoya was an absolute highlight of my trip. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and spoke excellent English—always happy to help with recommendations or directions. My room was a private bunk setup, spacious and quiet, which felt like a real retreat after a long day. Unlike some hostels where you share rooms with strangers, this one offered great privacy and decent soundproofing, making it perfect for a good night’s rest. The shared bathroom had proper partitions and was spotlessly clean—no compromises on hygiene here. Location-wise, it’s just a short walk from Sakae (about 2km), and right next to the bustling Daimaru shopping district. I found the perfect suitcase at 3Coins, and stocked up on skincare and medicines at Don Quijote—such a convenient stop. Bonus: the nearby Sanrin Shrine is charming and peaceful, worth a quick visit. And don’t miss Yabashi Pork Cutlet—arrived around 11 AM, got a table just in time, and when we left, there was already a long line forming. That says it all about its popularity. Overall, this hostel delivers incredible value, comfort, and convenience. It’s not just a place to sleep—it’s a smart choice for travelers who want quality, location, and a touch of local charm.
