I enjoyed breakfast each morning protected by a metal grate that kept the cheeky monkeys at bay—breakfast could be brought to my room or served right on the terrace, depending on my mood. The room was simple but comfortable, perfect for the standards of Varanasi. It’s a fantastic value stay, quietly located yet central to all the magic of the city.
