The hotel is absolutely outstanding! The ambiance is fresh and inviting, with a pleasant scent throughout the property. The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, making you feel right at home. The food is delicious—especially the breakfast spread, which offers a great variety of options. Cleanliness is top-notch, and the location is perfect: just a short walk to Alkid and other nearby attractions. Everything you need for a comfortable stay is within reach, from shopping to dining. It’s a fantastic value for money, and I’d definitely book again. Highly recommended!

This hotel is incredibly convenient, just a short walk from the city center and perfect for exploring Yogyakarta. The staff couldn’t be more welcoming—genuine smiles and warm hospitality that truly stood out. My first room was fantastic: modern, spacious, and with a beautifully designed bathroom that made the stay really enjoyable. I’d definitely recommend it! The only downside was my request for a room as far as possible from the elevator—unfortunately, I ended up with one right next to it, likely due to availability or a miscommunication. On the second night, a loud pump kicked on and off every five seconds, making sleep nearly impossible. The front desk responded quickly by offering a room change, which helped, but the new room was noticeably older and less stylish than the first. Plus, directly across from the window, the neighbor hotel’s massive air conditioning units were constantly humming—a sound like being on a plane. Still, despite this minor issue, the overall experience was excellent. Location, service, and comfort make this a standout choice for travelers.

The only minor issue was a faint smell of cigarette smoke when walking through the outdoor hallway, likely due to rooms that allow smoking. However, this didn’t detract much from the overall experience. Highly recommend for travelers looking for comfort, convenience, and great value.

We booked two rooms at De Laxston Hotel Yogyakarta, Azana Hotels Collection, and overall the stay was positive. However, in my father’s room, the television wouldn’t fully turn off—so we ended up just lowering the volume, which was a bit distracting during rest time. Also, for a double occupancy, we usually receive two key cards, but only one was provided for the room, which caused a small inconvenience. That said, the breakfast was absolutely delicious—great quality and flavor—but it sold out very quickly. We arrived just a few minutes after opening, and still ran out of options. Despite those minor issues, the hotel’s location, staff service, and overall atmosphere were impressive. The room was clean and comfortable, and the value for money was solid. I’d definitely recommend this property for travelers looking for a pleasant stay in Yogyakarta.
