The entire property is designed like a serene courtyard surrounded by covered walkways, with a beautiful pool in the center and art installations—paintings and antiques—displayed throughout. It’s incredibly well-located: if you’re up for a walk, you can reach the palace and downtown within a short stroll, and taxis are just a few minutes away. The train station is also within easy reach. The room itself feels timeless, filled with elegant furnishings and a charming old-world vibe. While snacks are paid, there's complimentary coffee, tea bags, and bottled water. The shampoo and body wash were excellent—luxurious and fragrant. The bed was wonderfully soft, the air conditioning worked perfectly, and the open skylight allowed for great ventilation. Breakfast might not have been extensive, but every item tasted fresh and thoughtfully prepared—definitely better than many five-star hotel breakfasts I’ve had. Staff were incredibly warm and helpful; even when communication was tricky, they used translation tools without hesitation to make sure we were comfortable. My first-floor room was spotless, though I noticed no blanket and the pillows were quite firm. The fan worked well and kept the room cool, but it could use a quick clean. The private bathroom was excellent—very clean, with towels and soap provided, though I had to bring my own toothbrush and toothpaste. Each room comes with a small terrace, which was nice for a quiet moment in the morning. There's ample parking space, and the free Wi-Fi is strong enough for work or streaming movies. At just 90,000 IDR, this is an incredible value for a private room with a queen bed—way better than many other options in the same price range.
