The room was spacious, spotless, and had a gorgeous view overlooking the city skyline. The bathroom was top-notch with high-quality amenities, and I loved relaxing with a drink while watching the sunset through the window. It’s literally just a 2-minute walk to the Yokohama Museum of Art—perfect for culture lovers. I didn’t stay long (had to be out early and back late), so I barely got to settle in, but every moment I spent here felt luxurious and well worth it. The fitness center, dining options, and indoor pool are all excellent—this place truly delivers on comfort and convenience. A standout choice for any traveler visiting Yokohama.

The location is ideal for both relaxation and sightseeing. With such great service, comfort, and convenience, I’d definitely return again. Truly a standout stay.

Staying at Shin Yokohama Prince Hotel felt like being in the heart of a bustling urban oasis. The hotel stands as the tallest building in Shin-Yokohama, and its rooftop bar offers one of the best views—directly facing Mount Fuji. On clear days, the distant silhouette of the iconic peak is simply breathtaking. The lobby connects seamlessly to Prince Peppe Mall, where you can easily access subway and JR stations, plus there’s a large drugstore and another shopping complex nearby with stores like Uniqlo, GU, an electronics store, sushi bars, Western restaurants, and even more dining options. Shopping and dining are all within walking distance. While the single room is compact, the spacious bathtub was a real highlight, and the window-side sofa area made it easy to store personal items. For families, upgrading to a larger twin room greatly improves comfort. And if you want to get closer to Fuji, just hop on a train for 30 minutes to Kamakura and walk down to the beach—the perfect photo spot. Plus, getting into Tokyo from Yokohama is super convenient. Overall, this hotel delivers great value and unforgettable experiences.
Citadines Harbour Front Yokohama
I absolutely loved this hotel! While the area is quiet, the location is incredibly convenient—most attractions and shopping centers are just a short walk away. The bed was super comfortable, and the lounge on the 7th floor with the coffee bar made for a perfect spot to unwind after a long day. My only regret was booking early with a non-refundable rate, as I later noticed lower prices on other platforms and even saw a price drop on the platform I used. Still, those three nights were worth it—the overall experience was excellent, and the value for money remains strong. If you're looking for a peaceful yet well-connected stay in Yokohama, this is a great choice.
SOTETSU HOTELS THE SPLAISIR YOKOHAMA
Coming out of the JR station's West Exit, head right and you'll spot an elevator right away—take it up to the second floor where the skywalk connects. Follow the row of greenery ahead, and you'll notice the two-stage escalator system. But don’t go through the left-side entrance—it’s just the first access point. For those with luggage, the easiest way is to pass by the escalator, keep going, and turn left at the third entrance. There you’ll find the hotel’s dedicated elevator leading directly to the 4th-floor check-in area. The whole route is well-designed and super intuitive, even with heavy bags. Smooth, efficient, and stress-free—exactly what a great stay should feel like.

My stay at Shin Yokohama Grace Hotel was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. Located just minutes away from Shin-Yokohama Station, getting around Yokohama or even Tokyo was so convenient via train. The breakfast spread was generous and delicious, with a nice mix of Japanese and Western options. What really stood out was the exceptional value for money—everything about this hotel exceeded my expectations. Whether you're here for business or leisure, I can’t recommend this place enough. Sotetsu Fresa Inn Yokohama Higashiguchi
This is the only hotel in my entire trip that truly deserves a perfect 10/10 rating, and its location is simply unbeatable. I actually changed my entire Tokyo itinerary just to stay here—worth every penny. Special thanks to a front desk staff member who speaks Chinese; she helped me rearrange my room booking seamlessly during the Japanese New Year period when our preferred deluxe twin room was fully booked for two nights. We were temporarily moved to a standard twin room, then smoothly switched back—no stress at all. The hotel’s location is fantastic: right next to a FamilyMart, and it’s less than a 2-minute walk to both JR East Exit and Keikyu Line ticket gates. From here, you can easily reach most cities across the Kanto region. The station underground features a huge shopping arcade, and just behind the hotel is another major mall with everything from pharmacies and cosmetics to dining and shopping—everything you need is literally steps away. For first-time visitors, it's easy to get confused: if you exit through the JR Central Arcade gate, look for the sign pointing to 'East Exit,' then follow the path past a large mural on the wall. Take the escalator down, turn left, walk along the left side until you see the sign 'Kita Higashiguchi A.' Ride the elevator up, cross the small bridge, and there you are—FamilyMart and the hotel are right in front of you. Simple, clear, no confusion. This place offers incredible value and convenience. I’ll definitely be back.

Chillulu Hostel exceeded my expectations in every way—spotlessly clean, with complimentary towels and toiletries that made the stay incredibly convenient. This is easily one of the top three hostels I've stayed at, and definitely among the most well-organized and welcoming I've experienced in Japan. The location in Yokohama is perfect for exploring the city, and the vibe is relaxed yet social. I’ll definitely be back.
Gran Customa Isezakicho
Staying at Gran Customa Isezakicho in Yokohama was a fantastic experience! The hotel offers great amenities, especially the women-only large bathhouse—so relaxing and spa-like, perfect for unwinding after a long day. There’s also an impressive collection of Japanese manga right in the lobby and near the rooms, which is a big plus for fans of anime and manga culture. I particularly enjoyed the authentic Japanese curry rice served at the on-site restaurant—it was rich, flavorful, and generously portioned. Most guests were local Japanese visitors, but that didn’t affect the vibe at all; it felt cozy and genuine. The location is super convenient—just a short walk or quick subway ride to central Yokohama. If you’re looking for a comfortable, culturally immersive stay with great value, this is definitely worth considering. I’d happily book here again.
