Staying at the InterContinental Yokohama Pier 8 was an absolutely fantastic experience—definitely lived up to the brand’s reputation. The room was spacious, beautifully designed, and offered stunning views of the waterfront and harbor from the window. Everything inside was clean, modern, and well-maintained, with excellent lighting and a very comfortable atmosphere. Right downstairs, there's a convenience store, a shopping complex, and even a Starbucks—perfect for grabbing essentials or a quick coffee. The surrounding area is vibrant, with plenty of restaurants, shops, and attractions within walking distance, making it easy to explore without needing to go far. The location is ideal for both relaxation and sightseeing. With such great service, comfort, and convenience, I’d definitely return again. Truly a standout stay.

This was easily the best hotel I've stayed at during my trip. The room was spacious and incredibly comfortable, with excellent soundproofing—finally, a good night's sleep without any disturbances! The breakfast spread was outstanding, featuring fresh, locally sourced ingredients that were both delicious and wholesome. Staff were professional and attentive throughout our stay. The only minor drawback is that although there are five elevators, only one operates at peak times, leading to waits of about five minutes—slightly inconvenient, but completely overshadowed by how amazing everything else was. Overall, an exceptional experience with fantastic value, and I’d definitely come back.

There are plenty of nearby essentials like a convenience store and McDonald’s, so you’re never far from a quick bite or daily needs. The hotel offers a parking lot with special rates for guests—great for those driving in. I especially loved the open-air area on the lobby level, where you can relax and enjoy panoramic views of Yokohama’s skyline. Bath amenities are conveniently located here too, allowing easy access throughout your stay. My room came with a washer-dryer combo (both dry and wet), plus laundry detergent provided—such a thoughtful touch! There’s also a microwave, a Refa hairdryer, a coffee table, and two chairs—perfect for unwinding after a long day. The best part? The view from the room includes Fuji Mountain on clear days. Waking up to that sight was magical, especially during sunrise. This hotel delivers comfort, convenience, and stunning views—all at a great value. I’d definitely come back.

The lobby connects seamlessly to Prince Peppe Mall, where you can easily access subway and JR stations, plus there’s a large drugstore and another shopping complex nearby with stores like Uniqlo, GU, an electronics store, sushi bars, Western restaurants, and even more dining options. Shopping and dining are all within walking distance. While the single room is compact, the spacious bathtub was a real highlight, and the window-side sofa area made it easy to store personal items. For families, upgrading to a larger twin room greatly improves comfort. And if you want to get closer to Fuji, just hop on a train for 30 minutes to Kamakura and walk down to the beach—the perfect photo spot. Plus, getting into Tokyo from Yokohama is super convenient. Overall, this hotel delivers great value and unforgettable experiences.

I absolutely loved this hotel! While the area is quiet, the location is incredibly convenient—most attractions and shopping centers are just a short walk away. The bed was super comfortable, and the lounge on the 7th floor with the coffee bar made for a perfect spot to unwind after a long day. My only regret was booking early with a non-refundable rate, as I later noticed lower prices on other platforms and even saw a price drop on the platform I used. Still, those three nights were worth it—the overall experience was excellent, and the value for money remains strong. If you're looking for a peaceful yet well-connected stay in Yokohama, this is a great choice.

I booked a twin room, and was pleasantly surprised by how spacious it felt. Even better: they actually provided a hair curler in the room! Small touches like this make all the difference. If you're visiting Yokohama, especially for Chinatown, this is an ideal choice—great location, comfortable stay, and excellent value.

The neighborhood is very walkable too—there’s a convenience store nearby for quick snacks or essentials, and within a 15-20 minute stroll, you’ll find plenty of restaurants offering everything from local street food to more upscale dining. We were especially impressed with the view from our upper-floor room—the city lights at night were stunning and made for a relaxing evening. Overall, this hotel offers excellent comfort, smart location, and genuine hospitality. Definitely one of the best stays we’ve had in Yokohama.
