InterContinental Rome Ambasciatori Palace

My three-day stay at the InterContinental Rome Ambasciatori Palace was absolutely unforgettable. Every afternoon, I'd unwind on the balcony with a cup of Da Hong Pao tea, watching the lively street scene unfold below—pure relaxation. What truly stood out was the warm hospitality from the team. The restaurant manager and a server from Bangladesh, who studied undergrad in Hunan Institute of Technology, were not only fluent in Chinese but also genuinely kind and attentive. There was also a lovely front desk attendant who had studied in Suzhou—her cheerful demeanor made every interaction feel personal. It wasn't just about language skills; it was their sincere warmth that made me feel right at home. The location is excellent—steps away from major attractions and easily accessible by metro. This hotel blends luxury, comfort, and heartfelt service seamlessly. If you're visiting Rome, this is a must-try for an authentic, memorable experience.

Domus 21 Luxury Suites

This was hands down my favorite hotel during my trip to Italy! The room was spacious and incredibly comfortable—definitely one of the largest I've stayed in. The front desk staff were friendly, helpful, and made check-in a breeze. Location-wise, it's perfect: all major attractions are within walking distance, and public transport is just steps away. Being on a main road also added a sense of safety, especially when wandering around at night. The only minor note is that the bathroom doesn’t have a door, so it can feel a bit chilly when showering—just a heads-up to turn on the heating a little earlier. Overall, this place exceeded expectations. Great value, excellent service, and unbeatable location. I’d absolutely stay here again.

Bettoja Hotel Mediterraneo

Staying at Bettoja Hotel Mediterraneo in Rome was a mixed experience. The location is excellent—walking distance to great restaurants and close to several major attractions, making it super convenient for exploring the city. The room we booked was a twin, which was on the smaller side, but cleanliness was decent overall. One downside was the shower setup—it had only a fixed head, no handheld option, which made showering a bit awkward. The front desk service was disappointing; when we requested a room change due to the tiny single room (bed too small, shower cramped), the night staff said no rooms were available and we’d have to wait until the next day and pay extra. However, the next morning, a different staff member quoted a completely different price, which felt inconsistent and frustrating. Despite these issues, the hotel’s central location really makes up for it. If you’re looking for convenience and easy access to Rome’s highlights, this place is still worth considering, even with its flaws.

Staying at UNA Hotels Decò Roma felt like stepping into a stylish Italian retreat. The location is fantastic—right next to the train station, making it super easy to explore Rome on foot or by public transit. Major attractions are just a short walk away, which saved us so much time and hassle. The hotel itself has a sophisticated yet cozy vibe, with clean, well-appointed rooms and excellent comfort—especially the bed, which made for great sleep. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay, always going the extra mile. It’s rare to find such a perfect blend of convenience, elegance, and warm hospitality. Highly recommend this gem for anyone visiting Rome.

Bettoja Hotel Atlantico

Staying at Bettoja Hotel Atlantico felt like stepping into a piece of living history—this place has been around for nearly a century, and the old-world charm is absolutely palpable. The architecture and interior design are elegant and timeless, with a genuine sense of character that you don’t often find in modern hotels. Location-wise, it’s unbeatable: just a 3-minute walk from Roma Termini Station, making it super convenient for arrivals, departures, and exploring the city on foot. The vintage elevator is a standout feature—it requires manually opening the outer door, but once inside, it runs smoothly and adds such a unique, nostalgic touch. That said, one thing to note is the limited number of power outlets; there are only two in the entire room—one in the main space and another in the bathroom—which can be a bit tricky if you're traveling with multiple devices. Still, the overall experience was exceptional. The blend of history, comfort, and central location makes this hotel a real gem in Rome. Highly recommended for travelers who appreciate authenticity and convenience.

Le Méridien Visconti Rome

Staying at Le Méridien Visconti Rome was an absolutely wonderful experience, especially for our family of three. We booked a suite, and the best part? The sofa can be reconfigured to form two separate sleeping areas—perfect for giving each family member their own space while still feeling connected. Our daughter loved having her own room, and we appreciated the privacy and comfort it offered. Located in a quiet, upscale neighborhood, the hotel is peaceful and away from the usual tourist bustle. It’s a bit far from the train station, so public transport isn’t super convenient, but honestly, we preferred taking taxis during the hot Roman summer—walking long distances just wasn’t feasible. Taxis were more comfortable, even if they came with a higher price tag; just note that some drivers don’t give change, so keep small bills handy. There are two Chinese restaurants within walking distance—great for a taste of home. We also enjoyed strolling along the Tiber River toward Castel Sant’Angelo, and while Vatican City is a bit of a walk (about 30–40 minutes), it’s totally doable for those who love exploring on foot. Overall, the location, room flexibility, and serene atmosphere made this stay unforgettable. A fantastic choice for families seeking comfort, quiet, and authentic Roman charm.

The warm and genuinely welcoming service from the front desk was truly exceptional—so much more than just a standard hotel experience. Located just a 20-minute walk from the Colosseum and Trevi Fountain, and only about 10 minutes to the train station, it’s perfectly situated for travelers who want to explore Rome on foot without spending too much time commuting. There are also a few great Chinese restaurants nearby, which made dining easy and enjoyable. The cleanliness of the rooms and facilities stood out—everything felt fresh, well-maintained, and thoughtfully equipped. The bed was comfortable, the staff friendly, and the overall atmosphere relaxed and inviting. I’ve already decided this will be my go-to choice whenever I return to Rome.
