Also, there were no views at all from the windows, so even if you wanted to enjoy the surroundings, there was nothing to see. The overall condition was far below what we expected for the price. If you're looking for a clean, welcoming stay in Porto, this isn't it. Not recommended.

The hotel is just a 5 to 10-minute stroll from major attractions, making it perfect for exploring the city on foot. The room is compact but immaculately clean, with wooden floors and tile flooring in the bathroom that feel smooth and well-maintained—so comfortable I walked around barefoot without hesitation. After days of travel fatigue, the powerful hot shower was a game-changer; I couldn’t resist taking three straight showers, and my body felt completely refreshed afterward. Welcome drinks were thoughtful, and breakfast included freshly made crêpes—a delightful surprise. The kind female staff even shared a few cooking tips and jokingly called my son a professional chef, giving him a big thumbs-up. Their cheerful smiles and genuine hospitality stood out throughout our stay. I stayed in a double room with an extra sofa-bed near the entrance, which worked perfectly as both a seating area and a temporary sleeping spot. Being not sensitive to noise, I actually found the nighttime sounds of passing cars on the cobblestones and gentle rain outside oddly charming—like a real-life movie scene. Originally booked last minute, I was pleasantly surprised by how affordable the rate was (including breakfast), and it ended up being the most satisfying accommodation choice during our 13-day trip.
