Stayed for four nights in June and absolutely loved it. The location was perfect—just a short walk from the metro station, making travel to and from the airport super convenient. Our apartment was on the top floor of a beautifully renovated townhouse, complete with a spacious balcony overlooking a quiet garden. The space felt cozy and well-designed: comfortable bedding, a compact kitchenette, a comfy sofa, and a clean, functional shower area. Even the small hairdryer was a nice touch—always appreciated! We arrived early and were given the room right away, which was a pleasant surprise. While the apartment is up a few flights of stairs (the wooden staircase with a skylight at the top was actually a highlight!), it added a bit of charm and kept us active. The neighborhood was fantastic—plenty of supermarkets, shopping centers, cafes, and a lively food market nearby. A 3-day transport pass made it easy to hop on the metro and buses when we didn’t feel like walking, especially since we were a bit outside the main tourist hub. That said, being just far enough out gave us a great balance—we could easily dip into the city center when needed, but also enjoy quieter, local vibes. We’d already explored the heart of Porto before, so this stay felt like a relaxed retreat with plenty to discover nearby. Carla, the staff member, was incredibly helpful and welcoming—always ready to assist. Overall, a standout experience with excellent value and a unique urban-chic vibe.

Upon arrival, we were greeted with a bottle of Porto wine and a delicious Pastel de Nata—such a warm welcome. Each room came with a water bottle and refill options, which I appreciated for sustainability. Breakfast was abundant, varied, and genuinely fresh—different pastries every morning made each day feel special. Staff were attentive, professional, and always smiling. We dined at the hotel’s restaurant one evening and had an excellent meal, followed by drinks at the rooftop bar—perfect for sunset views. I also booked three massage sessions with Sofia, a truly skilled and gentle therapist who made me completely unwind. One highlight? The complimentary bikes provided by the hotel—ideal for a relaxed ride all the way to the ocean. It felt like exploring the city at my own pace. Four days flew by, but they were unforgettable. I already miss it and hope to return soon.

Casa da Belavista
The property was disappointing from the very first moment. The apartment felt dirty, damp, and had a musty smell throughout—definitely not well-maintained. The owner was unresponsive and offered little help despite our concerns. We were misled by the listing, which promised a hot tub, but there was none—no mention of this in the actual photos or description. Also, there were no views at all from the windows, so even if you wanted to enjoy the surroundings, there was nothing to see. The overall condition was far below what we expected for the price. If you're looking for a clean, welcoming stay in Porto, this isn't it. Not recommended.

Their attention to detail made our trip so much smoother. The apartment itself is cozy and well-designed. The kitchen is compact but functional—we didn’t cook during our stay, so it wasn’t an issue. The main bedroom is spacious, and having air conditioning was a lifesaver during the hot summer days.
