I stayed at the Azimut Hotel Olympic Moscow for a full week, and it was an excellent experience overall. The location is incredibly convenient—just a short metro ride from the city center, with plenty of dining options and shops nearby. The breakfast buffet was generous and varied, though it felt repetitive after a few days, which made me wonder what to eat each morning. That said, the fitness center stood out—it’s well-equipped, clean, and professionally maintained, making workouts enjoyable. The hotel strikes a great balance between comfort, convenience, and value, especially for longer stays or business travelers. I’d definitely consider returning on my next trip to Moscow.

This hostel is absolutely fantastic! Daily cleaning keeps the space fresh and tidy, and the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. The location is perfect—just a 5-minute walk to the metro, making it super easy to explore Moscow. With such great convenience, excellent service, and a welcoming atmosphere, I can’t imagine not returning. This is definitely going to be my go-to place whenever I visit Moscow again.

Not recommended at all! The photos, descriptions, and even the reviews don't come close to capturing the truly unacceptable condition of this hostel. It's not cleaned—it's just swept around with a mop, spreading dirt everywhere. Furniture is either trash or completely missing. No closets, no shelves, no proper luggage storage—just a tiny broom closet. There's zero cleanliness, and mold is clearly growing in both showers shared by the dorm rooms. The beds are old double beds with worn-out mattresses and ill-fitting bedding. After one night, I felt more tired than when I arrived. The overall experience was disappointing, unsanitary, and far below any reasonable standard. Definitely not worth it.

The hostel was a complete disappointment. The rooms were outdated, dirty, and had a strong unpleasant smell—definitely not worth the price. The beds were uncomfortable, and basic cleanliness was lacking. While it's convenient to get to the city center via metro, that’s about the only positive. The overall experience was poor, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Management really needs to step up their standards in hygiene and maintenance if they want to improve guest satisfaction.

We arrived late at night after a short taxi ride, and despite the slightly tricky location—hidden a bit off the main street and requiring a short walk toward the center of the block—the staff were welcoming and efficient with check-in. The room was cozy, quiet, and perfect for a good night’s sleep. We booked a private bathroom option, and everything was spotless and recently renovated. While there’s no closet, that’s part of its charm—ideal for quick getaways. The entire space is made of wood, giving it a warm, inviting atmosphere. There’s no blackout curtain, but the lighting blends naturally with the rustic aesthetic. Downstairs, there’s a charming café serving excellent breakfasts: delicious pastries, a wide variety of teas, and especially rich, homemade porridge. It’s a small gem in Moscow’s neighborhood. I’d absolutely stay here again.

The location provided for this hotel was completely off—spending over an hour circling around the wrong spot due to unreliable GPS in Russia, which often drifts. I finally found the actual address only after calling a local resident for help. The real place is nearly a kilometer away from where it's listed on the platform, making it extremely difficult to locate. It's situated deep within a residential neighborhood, very quiet and far from any main attractions. The room itself is tiny, with a bed width of less than 80 cm—definitely not comfortable for a good night’s sleep. I had hoped being close to Belarus Station would make my next-day departure easier, but that wasn’t the case; it’s actually quite a distance away. There’s no front desk—just an apartment-style setup—so you’re entirely reliant on phone communication, which can be stressful if you don’t speak Russian. For first-time visitors to Moscow who don’t speak the language, I strongly advise avoiding this property. Arriving late at night? You’ll probably end up lost and frustrated. Overall, poor value, misleading location, and a frustrating experience.

I wouldn't recommend this place at all. I booked a room for three people on June 26th, and was told they'd call back the next day to confirm. I called early in the morning just to double-check, and was assured everything was confirmed—then told they'd call again later for final details. Later that day, a woman called and said the room wasn’t available because someone was already staying there. When I asked what we should do, she had no idea. I then tried reaching the front desk directly via the number listed on the website—only to be told the room didn’t exist and they couldn’t accommodate us. We arrived at the airport first thing in the morning with no place to stay. This is completely unacceptable. The management is disorganized and unprofessional. Please think twice before booking through this platform—this experience was frustrating and stressful from start to finish.

Located in the heart of Moscow, this hostel offers excellent convenience with easy access to public transportation and city attractions. However, I wouldn’t recommend bringing large luggage, as you’ll need to carry it up two flights of stairs—quite tiring if you’re already tired from travel. The room features a basic wooden bunk bed, suitable for two guests but not ideal for families or those seeking privacy. Shared bathroom and shower facilities are quite small and cramped, especially during peak times when queues can form. While the amenities are minimal and the space feels tight, the location makes up for some of the drawbacks. It’s a decent option for budget travelers looking for a no-frills overnight stay in a central spot, though expect to compromise on comfort and space.

This was our third stay at SMART LOFTS MOSCOW, though in a different room this time. We arrived to find all units already booked, but thankfully my husband reached out to the manager who quickly arranged a suitable room for us. Honestly, if we didn’t truly enjoy the place, we wouldn’t come back—so this is a genuine recommendation! Over the past year, the hotel hasn’t missed a beat; it’s still spotless, beautifully designed, and incredibly convenient. It feels like no one’s ever lived here before—so fresh and welcoming. Huge thanks to the team for their warm and professional service. Keep up the amazing work!

I was really thorough in my search for the right hotel, comparing prices and quality carefully. After reviewing many options and reading countless guest reviews, I finally found this gem. If you're not used to staying in 5-star hotels but still value cleanliness, excellent service, a great location, and essential amenities at a fair price—this is absolutely the place for you. The room comes with a private bathroom featuring a clean shower area, a powerful hairdryer, a small fridge, TV, kettle, and most importantly, a comfortable bed with a high-quality mattress—because as they say, how well you sleep determines how your day goes. Fresh bedding is changed every three days, which shows real attention to hygiene. The only minor drawback? No elevator—since I stayed on the third floor (room 310), carrying luggage up was a bit of a challenge. But honestly, the staff were incredibly responsive and helpful. They went out of their way to assist me with any questions or concerns, and that made a big difference. I truly appreciated it. If I ever stay in Moscow again and this hotel has availability, I’ll choose it without hesitation.

Baraban Hostel is located in the vibrant 798-Number 3 Bakery area of Moscow, surrounded by trendy boutiques, cozy cafés, and indie eateries—perfect for a relaxed, artsy vibe. The neighborhood feels like a hidden gem, ideal for young travelers and students looking to unwind. I stayed in a private single room for the first three nights and then switched to a female six-bed dorm for the last night—both were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. One of the highlights? A sweet 17-pound cat (yes, that’s about 8 kg!) who’s incredibly gentle and always lounging on the sofa waiting for pets. It adds such a warm, homely touch. The location is super convenient—just a short metro ride from the city center—and the whole experience felt authentic and welcoming. Definitely recommend this hostel if you’re looking for a budget-friendly, friendly stay with character.
