The hotel is super convenient—just a short walk to the marina, and the main avenue is safe and easy to navigate. Though the property looks a bit dated, it’s well-maintained and clean throughout. The pool water is warm and not too deep, perfect for relaxing or even kids. Breakfast was a buffet with good quality—while only three hot dishes were served during my stay, there was plenty of coffee, juice, milk, white bread, fruit, and oatmeal. The shower pressure is quite strong, so if you’ve been in the sun and your skin’s sensitive, be careful. The air conditioning didn’t hold the temperature setting I’d set—it kept adjusting on its own. If noise is a concern at night, request a room facing the pool side; the other side overlooks nearby bars that can get loud. I was lucky—I didn’t need a room change and had a peaceful stay overall. Great value for the price.

One small issue was that we arrived at breakfast at 10:05 AM, but the staff refused to validate our meal voucher since breakfast ends at 10:00 AM—something that’s usually extended to 10:30 at other City Express locations. It would be great if all properties followed a standardized time across the chain. Also, I noticed a double charge at the restaurant and am currently following up with my bank to resolve it. Despite these minor hiccups, the overall experience was excellent—the room was comfortable, service was friendly, and the value for money is outstanding. Definitely recommend staying here if you're visiting Cabo.

I've stayed here multiple times, and every time I book through the platform, the price upon arrival is higher than what was quoted—extra fees pop up for taxes, currency conversion, or other charges. The hotel is right next to a fish market, so the smell of seafood lingers all day long, which is really unpleasant. No one warned us about ongoing construction work, so loud noises from early Friday and Saturday mornings ruined our rest. There's now a taqueria right at the entrance, blocking the access path, and if you rent a car, parking space becomes nearly impossible to find. The room itself is nice in layout, but the staff is unprofessional and barely attentive—everything feels worn out or poorly maintained. Overall, it’s not worth the price, especially considering the lack of basic service quality.
