Cruising along the Nile on the Steigenberger Royale was nothing short of magical. From the moment we boarded, every detail felt thoughtfully curated—elegant cabins, spacious public areas, and a calm, luxurious atmosphere. The staff went above and beyond with genuine warmth and impeccable service; they remembered our names, anticipated our needs, and made us feel like family. The food was exceptional—fresh, diverse, and beautifully presented, blending international flavors with local Egyptian touches. What stood out most was the perfect balance: German precision in timing and organization, paired with the heartfelt hospitality only Egyptians can offer. It wasn’t just a trip—it felt like a dream vacation. We’ve had many holidays, but this one truly topped them all. Without hesitation, we’ll be back.
Aracan Eatabe Luxor Hotel
Staying at Aracan Eatabe Luxor Hotel was a highlight of my trip to Luxor. The morning view of hot air balloons floating over the desert is absolutely breathtaking—worth waking up early just for that moment. The hotel’s location is excellent, right near major attractions and easy to get around by public transport. While breakfast was standard Western-style fare—not overly exciting but filling and well-served—the staff were friendly and attentive. Overall, the experience was fantastic. It’s a great balance of comfort, convenience, and value, especially for travelers who want to explore Luxor without spending too much time commuting. I’d definitely book here again on future visits.
Luxor Star Apartments
The location is absolutely perfect—just steps away from the stunning temples of Luxor, and incredibly easy to explore on foot or by public transit. The apartment itself is spacious, spotlessly clean, and warmly furnished, making it feel like a true home away from home. Every room has its own air conditioning unit, which made staying comfortable even during the hot days. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and went out of their way to help me plan my visit to the nearby temples—so thoughtful! Everything I needed was available, and the overall experience exceeded my expectations. I felt genuinely cared for throughout my stay. This isn’t just a place to sleep—it’s a memorable part of my journey. I’ll definitely be back, and I can’t thank the team enough for their warm hospitality!
Royal House Hotel
Staying at Royal House Hotel was a great experience, especially for its convenient location near the Egyptian Museum—walking distance to many key sights. While the room decor is simple, it’s clean and comfortable enough for a relaxing night’s sleep. The highlight? The street vendor right outside offering authentic Egyptian sandwiches—delicious, affordable, and such a local favorite. It's also just a short walk from the popular Kazaz spot, making dining out super easy. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly—they helped me book a taxi at a fair price, which made getting around town hassle-free. I highly recommend trying Kazaz for both their food and refreshing drinks; everything tasted fresh, and the prices were very reasonable. Overall, this hotel offers excellent value and a welcoming atmosphere, perfect for travelers looking for comfort and convenience in Luxor.
Gaddis Hotel, Suites and Apartments
The family room was spacious and very comfortable, making it perfect for our trip with kids. The staff were friendly and always ready to help—great service throughout. Breakfast was delicious and varied, a real highlight. One small downside: the door was a bit hard to open, and the bathroom water pressure could be better. Still, these minor issues didn’t take away from the overall experience. Great value for money, and we’d definitely stay here again if we’re back in Luxor.

And Raphael, the hotel manager, was incredibly friendly and attentive throughout my stay. From the moment I arrived, I felt cared for and valued. The atmosphere is serene, the staff are genuinely kind, and every detail feels thoughtfully curated. This isn’t just a place to sleep—it’s an experience. I’ll definitely be back.
Nile Valley Hotel
Staying at Nile Valley Hotel was one of the highlights of my trip to Luxor. Located on the quieter side of the West Bank, it’s just a 2-minute walk to the ferry crossing—perfect for early morning trips across the Nile. The only minor issue was some barking dogs outside around 4 AM, but honestly, that didn’t ruin the experience. I stayed for two nights during the early summer low season, and with only one other guest in the hotel, I felt like I had the place all to myself—including the pool, which was clean, refreshing, and perfect after a long day exploring ancient temples and tombs. Breakfast was simple but adequate: eggs, fresh bread, fruit, coffee, and tea. It made sense given the small number of guests—no need for a full spread when you're not serving many people. I didn’t visit the rooftop restaurant since I wanted to keep the peace and enjoy the quiet vibe. The staff were very welcoming—they even offered me a beer upon arrival and later brought one by the pool, which was a nice touch. There’s no Wi-Fi in the room, but the pool area has reliable internet, so it worked well for checking things online. The property is a bit dusty, which is common throughout Egypt, but inside the room was spotless, with excellent air conditioning and stunning views of the Nile. The local staff were incredibly kind and helpful. Plus, there’s ongoing construction right in front of the hotel—a new welcome plaza for the ferry terminal—which didn’t disturb my stay at all. In fact, it’ll be a great addition once finished. Overall, this place offers a peaceful, authentic Egyptian experience with great value. I’d definitely stay here again on my next visit and highly recommend it.

Staying at Gold Ibis Hotel in Luxor was an absolute delight. The location is perfect—just a short walk from the Nile and surrounded by peaceful neighborhood vibes. The room itself was clean, well-maintained, and equipped with reliable air conditioning, ceiling fans, comfortable beds, and fresh towels. What stood out most was the rooftop terrace—perfect for relaxing with a view of the river and surrounding area. The breakfast was authentic Egyptian-style: warm bread, local cheese, fruits, and coffee—all included in the price and surprisingly delicious. The owner, Tayyip, went above and beyond to help with any needs, always friendly and prompt. Everything about this stay felt thoughtfully done, from the quality of materials to the overall atmosphere. Peaceful, convenient, and full of charm—this place truly offers excellent value. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Luxor.

Emilio Hotel Luxor
The hotel is charming and located right in the heart of Luxor, making it super convenient for exploring the area. From the 5th floor room window, you can actually see the Avenue of Sphinxes—a real highlight! The place has a cozy vibe, and we had a great time overall. That said, it’s a bit noisy since it’s on a busy street, and the windows don’t offer much sound insulation—so if you’re sensitive to noise, consider bringing earplugs. The Wi-Fi is unreliable inside the rooms; it only works in the lobby, which was a bit frustrating during our stay. However, the New Year’s Eve celebration dinner was a big plus—fun, lively, and well-organized with great energy. Despite the minor drawbacks, the location and atmosphere make this a solid choice if you're looking for a central, affordable option with unique views and a welcoming vibe.
Iberotel Luxor
Staying at Iberotel Luxor was a highlight of our trip to Luxor. Located right at the end of the main hotel street, it’s just steps away from the scenic Nile River promenade on the East Bank, with plenty of dining options nearby. The Winter Palace and Luxor Temple are both within a 10-minute walk—perfect for morning strolls. While Karnak Temple is a bit farther, a short taxi ride (about 10 minutes, around 50 EGP) gets you there quickly. The room was spacious, and while the furnishings were a bit dated, everything was clean and well-maintained—especially the bedding. The mattress was firm and supportive, not one of those sinking-in types, which made for a great night’s sleep. Breakfast was easily the best we had in Egypt—far more variety than at other hotels we’ve stayed at, including the famous Old Falls Hotel. It’s a real gem in terms of value and location, and I’d definitely return without hesitation.

住過無數酒店，這間真的超出預期！盧克索索菲特冬宮酒店簡直像從歷史畫卷走出來一樣，氣派又典雅。雖然設施不算最新，但整體乾淨度一流，每一個角落都打理得井井有條。最驚喜係電梯——復古設計超有味道，搭一次就上癮！花園更唔一般，佈局用心，香氣撲鼻的印度茉莉花、高大嘅仙人掌，竟然仲有孔雀同火烈鳥在園內悠閒漫步，真係好似置身於埃及皇室後花園。早餐絕對值回票價，食材新鮮，選擇多到眼花撩亂，服務員態度熱情，連熱拿鐵都係今次埃及之旅喝過最好嘅一杯！晚上仲可以試下酒店嘅香檳，氣泡細緻，層次豐富，真心推薦一定要試一試。性價比高，住一次就知！」},{
