The hotel was absolutely fantastic—my room was upgraded upon arrival, which was a lovely surprise. Waking up to panoramic views of the Nile River and hot air balloons drifting over the West Bank felt like stepping into a postcard. The breakfast spread was incredible—plenty of options, fresh and well-prepared, with both international and local favorites. The room itself had been recently renovated: spotless, modern, and very comfortable. Every staff member I interacted with was warm, attentive, and genuinely eager to help. From check-in to checkout, the hospitality made a real difference. It’s rare to find such a perfect blend of luxury, location, and service. Definitely planning to return.

Staying at Lotus Luxor Hotel was an absolute delight! We arrived late, around 9 PM after a train ride, and the front desk staff were incredibly welcoming. Despite our early arrival, they kindly offered to prepare our room ahead of schedule and even allowed us to check in early—no hassle at all. The hotel is wonderfully quiet, making it a peaceful retreat after a long day exploring. Getting to the East Bank sites was super convenient; just a 50 EGP taxi ride away. But what truly stood out was the rooftop terrace—waking up early to watch hot air balloons float above the Nile at sunrise was absolutely magical. It’s one of those moments you’ll remember forever. From the warm hospitality to the serene atmosphere and stunning views, this place exceeded every expectation. I’d highly recommend it to anyone visiting Luxor.

Staying at Cleopatra Hotel Luxor was an absolute highlight of my trip to Egypt. The owner’s hospitality is outstanding—always ready to help with any request, making solo travel feel safe and comfortable, especially for a woman traveling alone. The rooftop view overlooking the Valley of the Kings is breathtaking, especially in the morning when you enjoy breakfast there. The breakfast spread is generous and delicious: fresh bread, cheese, eggs, tomatoes, cucumbers, hummus, fries, falafel, and tea—satisfying and full of local flavors. The location is super convenient; I used inDrive to book rides easily, and the front desk even has a water dispenser for guests. Cleanliness is impressive for the price point—far better than most places I’ve stayed in Egypt. For such a great value, this hotel offers comfort, charm, and peace of mind. I’d definitely return and recommend it to anyone visiting Luxor.

Staying at Full Moon House in Luxor was an absolute delight. Located right on the west bank of the Nile, just across from the majestic Luxor Temple, the setting couldn’t be more perfect. The spacious ground-floor room is fully accessible for wheelchair guests—something I truly appreciated. The staff, especially brothers Mahmoud and Mohammed, went above and beyond to help with everything—from local tips to transportation arrangements. Their kindness and warmth made us feel right at home. What stood out most was the peaceful atmosphere—no noise, no crowds, just quiet beauty. Waking up to watch the sunrise over the Nile from the balcony was pure magic. If you’re looking for a serene escape with incredible views and genuine hospitality, this is the place. I stayed at In Luxor Nile Apartments and found it to be a solid choice overall—great location along the Nile, peaceful surroundings, and clean rooms. That said, I noticed the price was noticeably higher compared to a nearby alternative. The adjacent Luxor Guesthouse offers similar comfort and service at a much better value. If you're looking for a more budget-friendly option without sacrificing quality, I’d definitely recommend checking out the guesthouse next door. It’s a great pick for travelers who want convenience and good vibes without paying extra.

We didn’t stay at the residence, but this place is an absolute must-visit if you're in Luxor. Located just a short walk from the Medinet Habu temple, it’s perfectly positioned for both history lovers and foodies. The Egyptian cuisine made with locally sourced ingredients is simply delicious—each dish bursts with authentic flavor and character. The service is flawless, attentive without being intrusive, and the atmosphere feels truly unique, like stepping into a hidden gem of ancient Egypt. Iberotel Luxor
Staying at Iberotel Luxor was a highlight of our trip to Luxor. Located right at the end of the main hotel street, it’s just steps away from the scenic Nile River promenade on the East Bank, with plenty of dining options nearby. The Winter Palace and Luxor Temple are both within a 10-minute walk—perfect for morning strolls. While Karnak Temple is a bit farther, a short taxi ride (about 10 minutes, around 50 EGP) gets you there quickly. The room was spacious, and while the furnishings were a bit dated, everything was clean and well-maintained—especially the bedding. The mattress was firm and supportive, not one of those sinking-in types, which made for a great night’s sleep. Breakfast was easily the best we had in Egypt—far more variety than at other hotels we’ve stayed at, including the famous Old Falls Hotel. It’s a real gem in terms of value and location, and I’d definitely return without hesitation.

It's also just a short walk from the popular Kazaz spot, making dining out super easy. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly—they helped me book a taxi at a fair price, which made getting around town hassle-free. I highly recommend trying Kazaz for both their food and refreshing drinks; everything tasted fresh, and the prices were very reasonable. Overall, this hotel offers excellent value and a welcoming atmosphere, perfect for travelers looking for comfort and convenience in Luxor.
