Pavillon Winter Luxor

Staying at Pavillon Winter Luxor by Sofitel was an absolute highlight of my trip to Egypt. The cleanliness blew me away—hands down the cleanest hotel I've stayed in across the country. The linens were soft and comfortable, and I slept like a baby for several nights straight. The staff were incredibly attentive and always greeted guests with a warm smile—no robotic service here. There's security and screening at the entrance, which made me feel safe right from arrival. Stepping into the hotel felt like entering another world—completely different from the bustling streets outside. The air was fresh, the gardens beautifully landscaped, and the balcony offered perfect spots to relax and enjoy the views. While the facilities aren’t quite on par with top-tier international five-star standards, they’re absolutely excellent for Egypt’s hospitality scene. Hot showers were fantastic, and the air conditioning kept the room comfortably cool even during the heat. Overall, it’s a standout choice with great value—perfect for travelers seeking comfort, cleanliness, and a peaceful retreat in Luxor.

Home Sweet Home Luxor Apartments

We initially had a bit of trouble finding the place since Google Maps kept giving confusing directions, but the hotel staff were incredibly helpful—staying on the phone with our driver until we arrived safely. That kind of support made a huge difference! The apartment itself was stunning: spacious, immaculately clean, and with breathtaking views of the Valley, especially in the morning. Watching hot air balloons float above the landscape at sunrise became one of our favorite moments during the stay—an unexpected highlight we’ll never forget. The location, comfort, and attention to detail made it an unforgettable experience. We absolutely loved our time here and would book again without hesitation. If only we could’ve stayed longer!

Janat Elsahara Hotel

This desert oasis truly feels like a hidden paradise. The room is spacious and incredibly comfortable, with a well-designed bathroom that features a shower (though no full bath) — ample space and spotlessly clean. The owner goes above and beyond to meet every request and greets you with genuine warmth and hospitality. The bedroom comes with two separate beds, but easily converts into one king-sized bed upon request — perfect for couples. The mattress is wonderfully supportive, complemented by efficient air conditioning, a ceiling fan, a generous closet, and a small desk with a chair ideal for makeup or relaxing with a book. A flat-screen TV adds to the comfort. What really stands out is the private lounge area: a cozy seating nook with a table, chair, mini-fridge, and tea/coffee setup — perfect for morning coffee or quiet moments. Step outside through the back entrance and you’re greeted by a serene garden with shaded seating, a refreshing pool, and a peaceful atmosphere that makes it feel like your own private retreat. It’s incredibly quiet yet just a short drive from downtown Luxor. Whether you're heading out to explore the stunning temple ruins or take a breathtaking hot-air balloon ride (just under 15 minutes away), this place is an ideal base. Every detail is thoughtfully considered — from the tranquility to the convenience. For anyone looking to experience the magic of Luxor in comfort and style, this is the perfect home away from home.

Jewel Howard Carter Hotel

I don’t even know where to begin—Jewel Howard Carter is a small but incredibly charming hotel right on the West Bank of Luxor. From the moment we arrived, we felt instantly at home. The entire property was immaculately clean, with staff meticulously cleaning and tidying every day—no corner was overlooked. The team, from the friendly receptionists to the housekeeping crew and service staff, were all professional, warm, and genuinely attentive. What stood out most? The heated pool during our December stay—something quite rare and special on the West Bank. It made our days even more relaxing. We spent three wonderful weeks here, completely immersed in comfort and tranquility. This is definitely one of the best hotels in the area, and we’ll be back without hesitation. Thank you to the entire team for such an unforgettable experience!

Spring Hotel Luxor

Staying at Spring Hotel Luxor was an absolute delight! The room was spacious and comfortable, and upon arrival, we were greeted with a refreshing juice—a lovely touch. The next morning, when our child couldn’t have tea or coffee, the staff kindly brought a banana milk instead—such thoughtful care. What really stood out was how the owner personally arranged a boat to take us across to the Luxor Temple—no hassle, no stress, just seamless service. The attention to detail, warm hospitality, and genuine effort made our trip unforgettable. Highly recommend this gem for anyone visiting Luxor!

El Nakhil Hotel

Staying at El Nakhil Hotel in Luxor’s West Bank felt like discovering a hidden gem nestled in a peaceful countryside retreat. The setting is absolutely charming—serene, picturesque, and truly reminiscent of an oasis away from the crowds. It’s just a short walk from the ferry dock, though having a car would make exploring even more convenient. The rooms are beautifully decorated with intricate murals and elegant wall sconces that add character and warmth to the space. Service was exceptional—staff were genuinely friendly and attentive. One elderly gentleman stood out: fluent in English, incredibly thoughtful, and went the extra mile by offering to juice fresh watermelon we bought from the local market. He shared that he’d been working here for 17 years, and it’s clear he takes pride in the hotel’s legacy. Cleanliness was top-notch—the tile floors in public areas shone like mirrors, bed linens were crisp and free of pilling, towels were soft and fresh. The only minor issue was slightly slow drainage in the bathroom, but it didn’t affect our stay. We stayed four nights and managed to negotiate a $30 discount per night on an extension by chatting directly with the owner. Learning that the hotel was originally run by a German woman and her Egyptian husband, and now carefully maintained by the current manager, added a special touch. It’s obvious this place is still cared for with heart. If you’re looking for a quiet, authentic, and welcoming retreat in Luxor, this is a must-try. I truly hope the team continues to uphold such high standards.

The owner is incredibly warm and welcoming, going out of his way to make you feel at home. The room was spotless, comfortable, and well-appointed, offering a peaceful retreat after a day of sightseeing. With its unbeatable location, genuine hospitality, and cozy vibe, this place truly stands out. Iberotel Luxor

Staying at Iberotel Luxor was a highlight of our trip to Luxor. Located right at the end of the main hotel street, it’s just steps away from the scenic Nile River promenade on the East Bank, with plenty of dining options nearby. The Winter Palace and Luxor Temple are both within a 10-minute walk—perfect for morning strolls. While Karnak Temple is a bit farther, a short taxi ride (about 10 minutes, around 50 EGP) gets you there quickly. The room was spacious, and while the furnishings were a bit dated, everything was clean and well-maintained—especially the bedding. The mattress was firm and supportive, not one of those sinking-in types, which made for a great night’s sleep. Breakfast was easily the best we had in Egypt—far more variety than at other hotels we’ve stayed at, including the famous Old Falls Hotel. It’s a real gem in terms of value and location, and I’d definitely return without hesitation.

Sofitel Winter Palace Luxor

住過無數酒店,這間真的超出預期!盧克索索菲特冬宮酒店簡直像從歷史畫卷走出來一樣,氣派又典雅。雖然設施不算最新,但整體乾淨度一流,每一個角落都打理得井井有條。最驚喜係電梯——復古設計超有味道,搭一次就上癮!花園更唔一般,佈局用心,香氣撲鼻的印度茉莉花、高大嘅仙人掌,竟然仲有孔雀同火烈鳥在園內悠閒漫步,真係好似置身於埃及皇室後花園。早餐絕對值回票價,食材新鮮,選擇多到眼花撩亂,服務員態度熱情,連熱拿鐵都係今次埃及之旅喝過最好嘅一杯!晚上仲可以試下酒店嘅香檳,氣泡細緻,層次豐富,真心推薦一定要試一試。性價比高,住一次就知!」},{

Aracan Eatabe Luxor Hotel

Staying at Aracan Eatabe Luxor Hotel was a highlight of my trip to Luxor. The morning view of hot air balloons floating over the desert is absolutely breathtaking—worth waking up early just for that moment. The hotel’s location is excellent, right near major attractions and easy to get around by public transport. While breakfast was standard Western-style fare—not overly exciting but filling and well-served—the staff were friendly and attentive. Overall, the experience was fantastic. It’s a great balance of comfort, convenience, and value, especially for travelers who want to explore Luxor without spending too much time commuting. I’d definitely book here again on future visits.
