Our stay on this Jaz-owned Nile cruise was absolutely wonderful. We were checked in to a room on the third floor, which offered a perfect view of the Nile River—waking up to the sunrise over the water was magical. The meals were solid, with a good variety and quality, though not extraordinary. What truly stood out was the staff—extremely friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. From welcoming us upon arrival to assisting with daily activities, their hospitality made the trip feel special. It’s clear they care about guest experience. The overall value for money is excellent, and I’d definitely book again if returning to Luxor. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a relaxed, authentic Nile cruise experience.

While planning my trip to southern Egypt, I stumbled upon Mara’s website by chance—and it turned out to be a game-changer. Her detailed itineraries and practical tips made it easy to figure out exactly what I wanted to see and do. I reached out via email, and Mara promptly crafted a custom plan with a transparent, fair quote covering transportation, sightseeing, and my Luxor accommodation. Her communication was prompt, clear, and genuinely helpful—right away, I felt confident that my vacation was in good hands. By the time I arrived in Luxor, there was literally nothing left for me to organize: cars, drivers, guides, entrance tickets, lunch stops—everything from Luxor to Aswan and Abu Simbel was already arranged. The whole experience ran smoothly and on schedule, allowing me to fully immerse myself in the awe of ancient temples, tombs, desert landscapes, and the Nile River. My four-night stay at Mara House felt like home. The room was actually a private apartment with thoughtful touches—like a fridge stocked with mineral water and reliable air conditioning. Amr and his wife prepared delicious breakfasts each morning, and every evening, all guests gathered for a warm, home-cooked dinner hosted by Mara herself. Located in a quiet residential neighborhood just a short walk from the city center, the house offered a genuine local vibe—perfect for soaking in the authentic rhythm of life in Luxor. From start to finish, everything was seamless, personal, and unforgettable. Thank you, Mara and your amazing team—I’ll cherish this journey forever.

We stayed at the House of Dreams for four nights and absolutely loved every moment. The apartment was spotless, comfortable, and incredibly quiet—perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. The bed was cozy, the shower worked great, and the space felt thoughtfully designed. Our host, Amr, went above and beyond in his hospitality—he picked us up from the airport, helped us arrange a guide for the Valley of the Kings, and even organized a relaxing felucca boat ride along the Nile. His local knowledge and genuine care made all the difference. For the price, this is one of the best stays we’ve ever had in Egypt. Highly recommend this gem to anyone visiting Luxor.

Staying at New Memnon Hotel was an absolute delight! From the moment we arrived, the staff were warm and welcoming, making our check-in smooth and pleasant. I specifically chose this hotel because it offered views of the hot air balloons—a must-see in Luxor—and the rooftop view did not disappoint. Watching the colorful balloons float across the morning sky from the terrace was magical and truly unforgettable. The breakfast was delicious too—fresh, well-prepared, and varied, with local flavors that added a special touch. The only minor downside was that there was no hairdryer in the room, which we realized after arrival. We managed to borrow one from reception, but it would’ve been helpful to know beforehand. Overall, the location is excellent, the atmosphere is cozy, and the experience exceeded my expectations. For anyone visiting Luxor, this is a top recommendation—highly worth every penny!

Stayed at Grand Hotel in February 2024 and had an absolutely fantastic experience! The price per night was incredibly affordable—perfect for a budget-friendly trip. In this price range, cleanliness is non-negotiable, and the hotel delivered spotless rooms with fresh linens and neatly made beds. The owner, Massoud, went above and beyond—he shared invaluable local tips for first-time visitors to Luxor (trust me, you’ll need someone who knows the city well!), helped us book unforgettable excursions, and even followed up to ensure everything ran smoothly. It’s clear the staff genuinely understand European travelers’ needs and are eager to help. From the warm welcome to the thoughtful touches, every detail felt personal and sincere. This isn’t just a cheap place to stay—it’s a memorable, well-run gem that punches way above its weight. I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for comfort, value, and genuine hospitality in Luxor. Thank you, Massoud and the whole team, for making our trip so special!

Staying at Iberotel Luxor was a highlight of our trip to Luxor. Located right at the end of the main hotel street, it’s just steps away from the scenic Nile River promenade on the East Bank, with plenty of dining options nearby. The Winter Palace and Luxor Temple are both within a 10-minute walk—perfect for morning strolls. While Karnak Temple is a bit farther, a short taxi ride (about 10 minutes, around 50 EGP) gets you there quickly. The room was spacious, and while the furnishings were a bit dated, everything was clean and well-maintained—especially the bedding. The mattress was firm and supportive, not one of those sinking-in types, which made for a great night’s sleep. Breakfast was easily the best we had in Egypt—far more variety than at other hotels we’ve stayed at, including the famous Old Falls Hotel. It’s a real gem in terms of value and location, and I’d definitely return without hesitation.

住過無數酒店,這間真的超出預期!盧克索索菲特冬宮酒店簡直像從歷史畫卷走出來一樣,氣派又典雅。雖然設施不算最新,但整體乾淨度一流,每一個角落都打理得井井有條。最驚喜係電梯——復古設計超有味道,搭一次就上癮!花園更唔一般,佈局用心,香氣撲鼻的印度茉莉花、高大嘅仙人掌,竟然仲有孔雀同火烈鳥在園內悠閒漫步,真係好似置身於埃及皇室後花園。早餐絕對值回票價,食材新鮮,選擇多到眼花撩亂,服務員態度熱情,連熱拿鐵都係今次埃及之旅喝過最好嘅一杯!晚上仲可以試下酒店嘅香檳,氣泡細緻,層次豐富,真心推薦一定要試一試。性價比高,住一次就知!」},{

Staying at Aracan Eatabe Luxor Hotel was a highlight of my trip to Luxor. The morning view of hot air balloons floating over the desert is absolutely breathtaking—worth waking up early just for that moment. The hotel’s location is excellent, right near major attractions and easy to get around by public transport. While breakfast was standard Western-style fare—not overly exciting but filling and well-served—the staff were friendly and attentive. Overall, the experience was fantastic. It’s a great balance of comfort, convenience, and value, especially for travelers who want to explore Luxor without spending too much time commuting. I’d definitely book here again on future visits.

Staying at Royal House Hotel was a great experience, especially for its convenient location near the Egyptian Museum—walking distance to many key sights. While the room decor is simple, it’s clean and comfortable enough for a relaxing night’s sleep. The highlight? The street vendor right outside offering authentic Egyptian sandwiches—delicious, affordable, and such a local favorite. It's also just a short walk from the popular Kazaz spot, making dining out super easy. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly—they helped me book a taxi at a fair price, which made getting around town hassle-free. I highly recommend trying Kazaz for both their food and refreshing drinks; everything tasted fresh, and the prices were very reasonable. Overall, this hotel offers excellent value and a welcoming atmosphere, perfect for travelers looking for comfort and convenience in Luxor.

Staying at Pavillon Winter Luxor by Sofitel was an absolute highlight of my trip to Egypt. The cleanliness blew me away—hands down the cleanest hotel I've stayed in across the country. The linens were soft and comfortable, and I slept like a baby for several nights straight. The staff were incredibly attentive and always greeted guests with a warm smile—no robotic service here. There's security and screening at the entrance, which made me feel safe right from arrival. Stepping into the hotel felt like entering another world—completely different from the bustling streets outside. The air was fresh, the gardens beautifully landscaped, and the balcony offered perfect spots to relax and enjoy the views. While the facilities aren’t quite on par with top-tier international five-star standards, they’re absolutely excellent for Egypt’s hospitality scene. Hot showers were fantastic, and the air conditioning kept the room comfortably cool even during the heat. Overall, it’s a standout choice with great value—perfect for travelers seeking comfort, cleanliness, and a peaceful retreat in Luxor.

The staff at Hilton Luxor Resort & Spa were incredibly welcoming and genuinely helpful—what truly stood out was their multilingual abilities, making communication effortless no matter where you’re from. After long days exploring ancient temples and historical landmarks, returning to the resort felt like stepping into a peaceful oasis. The ambiance is serene, the rooms are spacious and well-appointed, and the spa experience was absolutely rejuvenating. It’s the perfect place to unwind after a busy day of sightseeing. I can’t recommend this resort enough—it’s a true gem in Luxor, offering both comfort and authenticity.

Staying at Amon Hotel in Luxor felt like stepping into a peaceful oasis amidst the bustling city. From the moment I arrived, the attention to detail in the design was immediately apparent—elegant, thoughtful, and full of character. The breakfast was exceptional: fresh, delicious, and thoughtfully curated with local flavors that truly stood out. My favorite part? The spacious garden just outside my window—opening it up let in a gentle breeze filled with greenery and serenity. In the evenings, they light a cozy bonfire, and sitting by it sipping tea or coffee while watching the stars come out was pure bliss. The pool area is beautifully landscaped and perfect for relaxing after a day exploring the temples. The staff are warm, welcoming, and always ready to help without being intrusive. Despite being close to the city center, the hotel feels secluded and tranquil—a true escape. Every little touch shows passion and care. This isn’t just a place to stay; it’s an experience. I’d absolutely return and recommend it to anyone looking for something special in Luxor.
