It’s just a 500-meter walk to the ferry dock on the east bank, making access to the temples and sunrise views super convenient. Perfect for my needs! The affordability was a huge plus, and having the option to rent a bike made exploring the nearby attractions so convenient— I could go at my own pace. Of course, Ahmed is absolutely fantastic; his hospitality and local knowledge made the stay even more memorable. Bonus points for the location too—situated on the western bank of the Nile, it’s incredibly peaceful and quiet, far from the crowds. It’s the ideal spot to unwind and enjoy the serenity of Luxor while still being close to everything worth seeing.

This has been the best hostel I've stayed at in Egypt so far. Karam, the host, was incredibly welcoming and friendly from the very first moment. He greeted us with a warm cup of tea, sped up check-in even though I arrived early, and made sure I could head straight to my room to rest. He provided excellent recommendations for city tours and gave thoughtful advice on every activity we considered. The hostel is spacious but never feels cold or impersonal—there’s a real sense of community. While the beds could use some improvement, the room and bathroom conditions are clean and well-maintained. The staff truly deserves a 10 out of 10. A standout experience that makes this place feel like home.
