We stayed at Thikana Delhi right at the start and end of our three-week journey through India, making it a perfect home base. The security team welcomed us warmly even in the middle of the night—such a comforting touch. The next evening, the owner came by for a friendly chat, asked how we were settling in, and shared some great local dining tips. Our room was beautifully designed, spotlessly clean, and incredibly comfortable—especially the beds. With Delhi’s sweltering heat, the air conditioning worked like a dream. The bathroom was pristine and well-maintained. What stood out most was the rooftop terrace—a peaceful escape to unwind after a hectic first day in New Delhi. We had heavy luggage (over 15 kg) heading to Varanasi, so we left our suitcases at the property with a small fee—no hassle at all. They handled everything with care and flexibility, allowing us to travel light. Breakfast was delicious and fresh, and the staff went above and beyond to make us feel at home. A heartfelt thank you to Sheetal and Atul Bhalla and their amazing team. This boutique B&B truly feels like a second home. We’d absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to any traveler visiting Delhi.
Hotel White Palace ( Near to Nizamuddin Railway Station )
The hotel is conveniently located just a short walk from Nizamuddin Railway Station, making it easy to access by metro or local transport. However, the overall condition is disappointing. The lobby feels outdated and dimly lit, and the room furnishings are worn and dated. The air conditioning unit is extremely noisy, running constantly through the night and disrupting sleep. The mattress is uncomfortable with noticeable springs that creak with every movement. Staff responses are slow and lack initiative when assistance is needed. Water pressure in the bathroom is low, and hot water supply is inconsistent—often requiring long waits for a proper shower. While the location is a plus, the poor quality of amenities and service significantly reduces value for money. This is only suitable for a quick overnight stay if you're on a tight budget. I wouldn't recommend it for families or travelers seeking comfort and reliability.
FabHotel Exotica Greenpark
This place isn't quite what the photos suggest—it's more of a standard budget option, and honestly, the room rates are fair for that. The official images seem to take some creative liberties; many rooms don’t actually have windows, and even when they do, views can be limited—mine overlooked a narrow alley facing another building’s windows, so blinds were kept closed most of the time. Breakfast is delivered straight to your room since there’s no dining area—just one small table in a lounge space. That said, breakfast arrives quickly and efficiently. No bar on-site, but the staff are genuinely friendly and helpful. If you're looking for something basic, clean, and low-cost with minimal frills, this might work for you. It’s not fancy, but it gets the job done.

Palette South Delhi Formerly Imperial Villa
My stay was extremely disappointing. The actual rooms looked nothing like the photos on the website—dusty, outdated, and poorly maintained. There was no hot water in the bathroom, faucets were leaking, towels were stained and dirty, and there was no working TV. The lack of basic upkeep made the experience uncomfortable and frustrating. This property shouldn't be listed at all if the information is misleading. It's clear the photos don't reflect reality, and guests deserve better transparency. Please reconsider how properties are displayed to avoid false expectations.
