This resort is an absolute gem for the price—far better than I expected. The location is perfect: just a short walk from the train station and surrounded by authentic Tuscan charm. What stood out most was the convenient free street parking right in front of the hotel—no need to worry about parking fees or hassle. The rooms are spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated with a cozy, rustic Italian feel. Staff are warm and attentive without being intrusive. It’s clear they care about guest comfort. I’d come back in a heartbeat. If you're looking for a peaceful, well-located retreat in Tuscany, this is it.
Grand Hotel Golf
We just wrapped up our six-day stay at this incredible hotel in Pisa, and it was absolutely unforgettable. We opted for the full-board package (drinks not included), and honestly, we left feeling a little heavier—well worth it! Every meal was delicious, especially the first courses. The menu offered an excellent variety of seafood and land dishes, catering to every taste. Our maître d’ Gabriele will forever be in our hearts—he’s charming, professional, and truly made us feel welcome. His team was exceptional: always smiling, attentive, and genuinely warm. The cleanliness throughout the property was outstanding—there was always a fresh, clean scent in the air. The pool is spacious, and the beach is well-equipped. While the sea was a bit choppy, it added a fun element for our little one, as we played in the waves and laughed through the splashes. There’s no on-site entertainment, but just a short walk away is a fantastic amusement park that kept the kids thrilled all day long. The rooms are a bit dated, but they’re huge and spotless—perfect for families. I can’t recommend this place enough. If you ever get the chance, come here at least once in your life—especially for the food. It’s simply unforgettable.
Il Porticato
Staying at Il Porticato was an absolute delight from start to finish. The location is perfect—just a short drive from the beach, where we enjoyed some relaxing time by the sea, and it's also super easy to reach the heart of Pisa for sightseeing. The free parking is a huge plus, especially if you're traveling by car. The rooms are beautifully furnished with a tasteful touch, each equipped with spacious bathrooms, air conditioning, and all the essentials you’d want for a comfortable stay. The breakfast was outstanding—fresh, delicious, and served in a lovely garden setting that added a peaceful, homey vibe. I especially loved starting my mornings surrounded by greenery. It’s clear the owners take pride in every detail. This place offers incredible value for money and feels like a true hidden gem. I’ll definitely be coming back and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Pisa.
