The guest relations team, especially Ella Jiang Wenjuan, went above and beyond—she called after booking to confirm our needs, greeted us warmly upon arrival, and made the entire process smooth and personal. It’s clear why IHG’s ‘IHG Journey’ service is so highly rated. The room was spacious and bright, with a twin-bed layout and a huge panoramic balcony. Just stepping outside, we were greeted by views of the amusement park’s Ferris wheel and the shimmering surface of Dianchi Lake—our kids couldn’t stop cheering at the sight of the roller coaster. The bathroom featured a luxurious round tub and dual vanity sinks—perfect for family use. Welcome fruits and child-specific toiletries were already waiting, showing how thoughtfully everything was planned. Dinner at the hotel’s restaurant offered a fantastic blend of local Yunnan flavors and international dishes—so many options it was hard to choose!
