I stayed in a dorm with shared facilities, and since my roommate went to bed early and turned off the lights, I had to be careful not to disturb them when showering. The storage cabinets in the room are spacious enough for a 29-inch suitcase, and towels and hairdryers are available at the front desk—just drop used towels into the yellow bin after use. The touchless water dispenser is a real game-changer; no need to buy bottled water—just fill your bottle right there. Downloading the YHA app made entry seamless—just scan your phone at the door. On my second day, we experienced a fire alarm alert. The staff reacted swiftly, knocking on every door to ensure everyone evacuated safely, then guided us calmly to the front entrance. Thankfully, it was just a false alarm—the local fire department arrived quickly, as they’re actually located on the same street, and their uniforms looked impressively sharp.
