If you're looking for a prime location in Budapest, this place truly delivers. My boyfriend and I stayed for five nights in a spacious room complete with a private library and small kitchen—perfect for relaxing and enjoying some quiet time. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and we loved having a variety of teas available whenever we wanted a cozy moment. As a history enthusiast, I was amazed by how much character and local stories this place holds—Eszter, the host, is incredibly knowledgeable and happy to share fascinating details about the building and its past. It’s rare to find such charm and authenticity in a modern city setting. We had a wonderful stay, and we’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a unique, warm, and memorable experience in Budapest.
Hampton by Hilton Budapest City Centre
I stayed at the Hampton by Hilton Budapest City Centre for three nights and absolutely loved every moment. The location is unbeatable—most of Budapest’s top attractions are just a short walk away, making it incredibly convenient for sightseeing. The hotel itself is spotless and well-maintained, offering a peaceful and comfortable retreat after a day of exploring. While the double bed was a bit snug, the sofa bed was surprisingly spacious and incredibly cozy, easily accommodating three adults without any discomfort. Breakfast was a highlight—plenty of options, fresh, and delicious. I also appreciated the water dispensers on each floor, which made staying hydrated super easy. Overall, this was an outstanding experience, and I’d definitely choose this hotel again on my next trip to Budapest.

The location is excellent—just steps away from the metro, tram, and bus stops, making it super convenient to explore the city. The rooms are spacious and spotlessly clean, offering a comfortable stay. A Lidl supermarket is right next door, perfect for grabbing snacks or essentials. The staff are friendly and welcoming, always with a smile. Breakfast is decent but lacks some cultural touches—no cheese or olives, which would have added more character. Some sausages seemed questionable in terms of ingredients, possibly containing pork, so those avoiding it should be cautious. Still, we stayed two nights and left feeling thoroughly satisfied. Would absolutely recommend and book here again—great value and a fantastic base for exploring Budapest.

Staying at D8 Hotel in Budapest was an absolute delight. The location is unbeatable—just a 5-minute walk from Chain Bridge, right next to the bustling square and pedestrian street. Everything you’d want to see is within easy reach, making it incredibly convenient for exploring the city on foot. The room was spotless, well-maintained, and came with all the essentials. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with recommendations or local tips. Breakfast was simple but satisfying—plenty of options and good quality for the price. Overall, this hotel offers excellent value for money and makes your stay in Budapest both comfortable and stress-free. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the city.

Staying at Benczur Hotel was an absolute delight—far better than expected and incredibly good value for money. The breakfast was fantastic: abundant, delicious, and with a wide variety of options that kept us full throughout the day, even well into the afternoon. We arrived early, and despite not being check-in time yet, they let us in as early as 9 AM—super accommodating! They also offered currency exchange for Hungarian Forints, which was super helpful. The room was bright, clean, and spotless, with excellent natural light and a perfectly warm shower. It’s just a short walk to Heroes’ Square, and from there, exploring the city via Budapest’s historic yellow metro line (the first underground railway in Europe) was such a fun adventure. Everything about this stay was perfect—from location to service to comfort. Highly recommend this gem!

However, since we came prepared, it didn’t affect our comfort at all. Overall, the location, cleanliness, and cozy atmosphere make this a top choice for travelers looking for a comfortable, independent stay in Budapest.

The view from the window features a beautiful church, adding a charming touch to the stay. Overall, this was an excellent experience. I’d definitely choose this hotel again on my next visit to Budapest.
