The building itself might be a bit tricky to spot at first glance, but once you find it, the journey inside is part of the experience. The room was larger than expected and impeccably clean, making it feel spacious and comfortable despite the price point. What really stood out was the rooftop view—panoramic and breathtaking, especially during sunset when the city lights begin to twinkle below. The hotel occupies a floor within a high-rise building, so you'll need to take the elevator up to the entrance. The elevator design differs from what many are used to, which might surprise first-timers—but honestly, it adds a unique charm to the stay. Staff were warm, helpful, and spoke clear English, with noticeable attentiveness toward Japanese guests. Isis Hostel 2
We booked this hostel well in advance, and it absolutely met all our expectations—great value, excellent quality, and unbeatable location. Stayed for three nights, and since it was our first time visiting Cairo, we were a bit anxious about the delayed flight and whether the transfer would still be arranged. But everything went smoothly: upon exiting customs, we were greeted right at the airport exit by staff holding a sign with our hostel’s name and our names—so reassuring! The ride was fast and comfortable. The hostel is perfectly located in the heart of downtown. From our window, you can see the Egyptian Museum, and everything else—cafes, small shops, mosques, and the Nile riverside—are just a short walk away. Even better, there’s a bus station right nearby, which made it super easy to catch a bus straight to Sharm El Sheikh later that day. The room matched the description exactly: air conditioning, four 1.5-meter beds, wardrobe, three bedside tables, dresser, and a private bathroom with a bathtub and sink. Towels were provided—no hassle. The front desk team was incredibly friendly and helpful, speaking fluent English, which made communication effortless. They gave us great local tips on transportation, pricing, and must-visit spots. There’s also a shared kitchen just beside reception—complete with kettle, stove, sink, and dishes—all freely available, which is a huge plus. And the view from the kitchen? Absolutely stunning. We couldn’t believe how beautiful it was. Clean, tidy, affordable, and highly recommended!

Ramses Palace Hotel
I absolutely loved my trip to Egypt, and the Ramses Palace Hotel made it even better! The hotel is spotless, comfortable, and very safe—exactly what you want when traveling. What truly stood out was the incredible security team. We accidentally lost our phone somewhere—maybe in the hotel, near the pyramids, or on the shuttle bus—and were worried it was gone for good. We reached out to the hotel security, and within minutes, they called back with great news: they’d found it and held it securely. I can’t thank Abd El Azem A Zaher and Mustafa Fathy Mohamed Mustafa enough for their prompt and professional help. Their dedication really made a difference. The location is excellent, just a short walk from major attractions, and public transport access is super convenient. If you're visiting Cairo, this hotel is a top choice—highly recommend!

My stay at Longchamps Zamalek was absolutely fantastic. The room was spotless and incredibly comfortable—hands down the best bed I experienced throughout my entire trip across Egypt, which included five different hotels. The cleanliness of the entire property stood out, making it feel like a true boutique retreat. Breakfast was exceptional—fresh, delicious, and far superior to any other hotel breakfast I had during my visit. The owners were warm, welcoming, and genuinely attentive; they even offered German Christmas cookies, which added such a thoughtful touch. Located right in the heart of Zamalek, the hotel is perfectly positioned near restaurants, shops, and attractions—ideal for exploring Cairo on foot or by metro. I was sad we only stayed one night, but if I ever return to Cairo, this will be my first choice. A truly memorable experience with outstanding value.

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, but special thanks go to Mr. Mahmoud Abdelhakem, the front desk manager. He went above and beyond to assist with everything, from local recommendations to check-in logistics. The location is convenient for getting around town, and the overall atmosphere is welcoming and peaceful. I’d highly recommend this gem to any traveler visiting Cairo—it’s a true hidden treasure with exceptional value.

The only thing to note is that there’s no elevator, so if you’re staying on the 4th floor, be prepared to climb the stairs—though they’re clean and not too steep.
