I absolutely loved staying at PM-Rooms! It's just a short tram ride away from the train station—trams 18 and 19 make getting here super easy. The location is perfect, right near the old town and walking distance to Oktoberfest festivities during the season. The room was spotless, with large windows that let in plenty of natural light. Check-in was straightforward and well-explained, which made everything stress-free. There’s a shared kitchen, ideal for travelers who want to cook their own meals. Despite being a youth hostel vibe, it’s surprisingly quiet and respectful—great for solo travelers or small groups. Clean, friendly, and incredibly well-located. I’d definitely stay here again!

The nearby subway station makes getting around Munich a breeze, and if you're driving, the hotel offers free underground parking—such a convenient bonus. The rooms are modest in size but well-designed and fully equipped with everything you’d need. Everything was spotless and well-maintained throughout our stay. We truly felt at home. The comfort of the bed, quiet ambiance, and overall cleanliness made it an enjoyable experience. Meininger Hotel München Olympiapark
We've stayed at this hotel for the second time, and we were thoroughly impressed again. Located just a few minutes away from Olympiapark, it's incredibly convenient for exploring Munich's attractions. The hotel is currently undergoing renovations, but our room was already upgraded—spacious, bright, and beautifully modernized. We loved the fresh design and comfortable layout. There are plenty of vending machines offering drinks and snacks, plus a shared kitchen with a fridge, toaster, and cooking essentials—perfect for preparing your own meals. The laundry room has two washing machines, which is super handy during longer stays. Breakfast was outstanding—fresh, abundant, and well-prepared with no missing essentials. For guests who smoke, there are outdoor seating areas with benches and chairs, so you can enjoy a cigarette without disturbing others. Parking is available in the underground garage, making it easy to explore the city by car. Overall, the service, cleanliness, and value for money are excellent. This place truly delivers on comfort and convenience—definitely a top choice for travelers visiting Munich.

The only thing to note is that you need to put on your own sheets upon arrival and remove them when checking out, but this helps keep bedding clean between guests. There’s also a fully equipped kitchen and a spacious common area, perfect for cooking meals with friends or just chilling out. A gentleman there went above and beyond when I asked about Geisten HP8 Cultural Center. He not only looked up the location and transit details but also wrote down the exact subway route and station names clearly on paper. That kind of personal care made a big difference. I left feeling genuinely appreciated. This hotel offers comfort, convenience, and exceptional service. I’ll definitely be returning next time I visit Munich—and I’ve already recommended it to friends.

Still, the team handled it with kindness and flexibility—they let us complete the forms at check-in and even sent the documents to our parents directly. While the process felt a bit more strict than expected, I understand the need for safety measures, especially when it comes to younger travelers. That said, the overall experience was excellent, and I’m happy to give it a full 5 stars. If all Meininger locations maintain this standard—especially considering Munich is one of their oldest properties—I’d say they’re a safe, reliable choice for any budget-conscious traveler.

Mercure München City Center
Staying at Mercure München City Center was a fantastic experience. The room was spacious and perfect for our group of three—plenty of room to move around and feel comfortable. The bathroom was well-equipped with a shower, shampoo, conditioner, hand soap, and even hand lotion—very thoughtful touches. We were also pleasantly surprised by the complimentary drinks in the mini bar, which made our stay more convenient and enjoyable. Breakfast was outstanding—huge variety and everything tasted fresh and delicious. I’d definitely book again next time I’m in Munich. Great location, close to public transport, and overall a top-tier hotel experience.
