The room layout took some getting used to (a bit unusual), but it didn’t detract from the comfort. Breakfast options were limited, but the quality more than made up for it—especially the warm dishes and breakfast items that catered well to my taste, including familiar flavors I’d expect back home. The neighborhood is very practical with plenty of nearby amenities: a currency exchange just two blocks away, restaurants, pharmacies, a supermarket (Éxito), a minimart (Oxxo), and several cafes—everything you’d need within walking distance. The staff, especially Marta and Gustavo, were incredibly welcoming and attentive, making the stay feel warm and personal, like family. My only suggestion for improvement is the payment method: I had planned to pay with my card, but was informed just one day before check-out that the card machine wasn’t working and I’d have to pay in cash—either USD or Colombian pesos. Thankfully, I had some dollars on hand, but this could be stressful for others. It would be great if such details were communicated upfront during booking. Also, breakfast is a bit limited compared to other hotels in the same category—could use more variety. Still, overall, the value, location, and hospitality make this a standout choice.
