Every detail, from the service to the ambiance, screams quality. This hotel delivers far beyond expectations—highly recommend for anyone visiting Rio!

Breakfast was fantastic—fresh fruit, local pastries, coffee, and a great variety to start the day right. I’d definitely recommend booking with breakfast included; trying to add it later meant paying full price with no discount. One thing to note: parking fees were higher than what was listed online—maybe due to seasonal pricing near year-end, so plan accordingly. Overall, this hotel offers excellent value for money, great service, and a convenient central spot. If I ever return to Rio, this will be my first choice again.

The rooms are beautifully designed with high ceilings and Italian-style showers—plus, one spacious room in a separate building comes with an even larger shower area, perfect for relaxing. Breakfast was exceptional: fresh juices, homemade pastries, and freshly baked bread—all made on-site and delicious. The location is wonderfully quiet and peaceful, yet just steps away from the charming cafes and lively restaurants of Santa Teresa, which come alive both day and night. This neighborhood alone makes the trip worthwhile. Villa Laurinda truly stands out as a unique gem in Rio de Janeiro—a place that feels special from the moment you arrive, and one I’d happily return to again.

Getting around by taxi is super easy—just a short ride to most attractions. What made our stay extra special was catching a Chinese senior tour group during our visit; the lobby was buzzing with energy and lively chatter, adding a unique cultural vibe. Despite the quiet surroundings, the hotel offers excellent service, modern amenities, and great value for money. If you're looking for convenience, comfort, and a touch of local charm, this place is definitely worth considering.
