We were truly delighted with our stay at this property. Located on the 7th floor—right on top—the views and quietness were perfect despite being directly opposite Glasgow Central Station. The sound of passing trains was barely noticeable, just a gentle hum, which didn’t disrupt our rest at all. The hotel is ideally situated in the heart of Glasgow, just a short walk from George Square and other main attractions. A hop-on hop-off bus stop is literally steps from the entrance—super convenient for exploring the city. The apartment itself was spotless, fresh, and generously spacious. The bedding and furnishings were incredibly comfortable, making it feel like a home away from home. Service stood out—when we noticed a curtain had come off its track, we reported it, and it was fixed the very next day. That kind of prompt attention really impressed us. Plus, secure underground parking was a huge plus, even though we didn’t use our car during our three-day visit. It gave us peace of mind knowing our belongings and vehicle were safe. From location to comfort to service, every detail felt thoughtfully designed. Highly recommend for travelers who value convenience, quality, and reliability.

Tartan Lodge - Hostel
We stayed at Tartan Lodge for two nights and it was one of the most enjoyable hostel experiences we’ve had so far—definitely a step up from our previous stay in Inverness. The staff were warm and welcoming from the moment we arrived. The beds were comfortable, with no military-style stiffness, and the shared bathroom was clean and well-maintained. The common lounge is cozy and inviting—perfect for relaxing or meeting other travelers. If you want to cook your own meals, the kitchen is fully equipped, though we noticed there weren’t enough mugs, and some of the pots and pans could use a refresh. That said, the location is fantastic—just a short walk to the city center, and there are plenty of sights along the way. Great value, great vibe, and definitely worth recommending.

This chain hotel offers excellent cleanliness and a very comfortable stay. While it's located across the river, making access slightly less convenient, public transport options are still reliable and easy to use. The room was spacious—definitely more than expected for the price. In the UK market, this is an outstanding value for money. If you're looking for a clean, well-sized room at a reasonable rate without sacrificing quality, this is a solid choice. I’d definitely stay here again when visiting Glasgow.

Absolutely amazing! The hotel is tucked away in a peaceful neighborhood, yet it's just a short walk from great restaurants and shops. It felt like coming home, not just a place to sleep. For the location, comfort, and service, this is easily one of the best stays I've had in Glasgow. I'll definitely be back.

I’d definitely recommend this hotel and would stay here again on my next visit to Glasgow.
Leonardo Inn Glasgow West End
I stayed here overnight for an event, and while it served its basic purpose, the room was perfectly adequate. That said, the hotel's overall decor hasn’t seen a refresh in years—there’s a real sense of outdated charm, especially when you consider how it looked back when it was known as The Pond. It definitely shows its age. However, the one standout was the front desk staff—a genuinely helpful and friendly person who made a big difference. Their professionalism and warmth turned what could’ve been a forgettable stay into something more pleasant. I wouldn’t choose this place first if I had options, but I’d consider it again as a last resort, simply because of that great service.

Stayed in room 236, located in the new wing of the hotel—huge, modern, and super comfortable. Two nights was just right, and the location was excellent, with easy access to downtown Glasgow by public transit. A couple of things to note: if you're particular about breakfast options, be prepared for a classic Scottish spread—think cold cuts, fried eggs, and simple fare—not much in the way of hot or continental choices. Also, there's no parking available on-site, so driving here requires finding off-street options nearby. That said, it didn't take away from the overall experience. The room quality, staff friendliness, and value for money made this a great stay. Highly recommend!
