This hotel is absolutely stunning—immaculate from top to bottom, and every staff member goes above and beyond with their warmth and professionalism. While the hotel doesn’t offer parking, there’s a great value lot just a two-minute walk away at 25 Kent St. We paid $64 for 2.5 days, which was incredibly reasonable. The room itself was a dream: exposed brick walls, soaring ceilings, and a bathroom that felt like a spa—with a massive tub and a powerful shower. Pro tip: if you’re sharing a room with someone you don’t want to see naked, be aware the shower partition isn’t a one-way mirror—you can actually see into it when someone’s showering. Luckily I was with my daughter, so no issues there. Both the in-house restaurant and the ramen spot next door are fantastic—definitely worth trying. I didn’t make it to the rooftop bar this time, but since I’ll be back every time I visit NYC, it’s definitely on my list for next time. The room was extremely quiet, and temperature control was effortless. That said, as someone who’s highly sensitive to energy and atmosphere, I did notice some unusual things right from the moment I walked in. Nothing scary—I’m not prone to fear—but I experienced several undeniable phenomena: seeing movement down the hall in both my room and the public corridor, hearing voices speaking clearly nearby when I was alone in the shower, and even hearing the stairwell door open directly beside our room, only to find it empty when I checked. It wasn’t coming from another room—it felt immediate, personal. After returning home, my daughter looked up the building’s history, and let’s just say it shed light on everything. There’s a reason why the third floor (near what used to be a fire escape) felt particularly charged. It also explains why my first thought upon opening the front door was, “I’m surprised they get away with inward-opening doors—this violates fire code.” Anyway, if you’re curious, do your own research. But regardless of all that, this is an exceptional hotel at a fair price, located in a safe and beautiful part of Brooklyn. I’ll be back again without hesitation.

Staying at Penny Williamsburg felt like stepping into a vibrant, artistic dream. The colorful, bohemian-inspired design really sets the mood—every corner feels Instagram-worthy. It’s about a 10-minute walk to the subway, which is convenient for exploring Brooklyn and Manhattan. The front desk staff were warm and helpful, making check-in a breeze. While the bathroom is on the smaller side and there isn’t much counter space, the view from the window is absolutely breathtaking—like living inside a painting. The compact kitchenette is well-equipped, so I could enjoy my morning coffee in peace and even whip up simple meals. They also left a fresh orange as a welcome gift—such a sweet touch! The bed was incredibly comfortable, with just the right balance of softness and support. Sure, New York prices are always a consideration, but this place delivers exceptional value for the quality and vibe. No complaints here—this is one of those rare stays where everything just clicks. Would stay again without hesitation!

The staff at Boro Hotel were incredibly friendly and welcoming from check-in to check-out. They went above and beyond to assist with any request, always with a warm smile. The location is excellent—just a short subway ride away from major attractions, making exploration super convenient. I was truly impressed by the attention to detail and genuine hospitality. This place offers great value for money and I’d definitely stay here again.

Arlo Williamsburg truly delivers an exceptional experience from start to finish. The attention to detail is outstanding—artisan leather touches, brass accents, and classic tile work create a timeless yet modern vibe throughout the property. The room numbers with their shadow design are a small but stylish touch that adds character. The rooftop pool is refreshing, and the bar offers incredible views of Manhattan skyline, perfect for evening drinks. Music runs until midnight every night, so it might not be ideal for light sleepers or families with young kids—but for adults seeking a vibrant, stylish stay, this is hands down the best hotel I’ve stayed at in a long time. And kudos for being extremely pet-friendly; my dog felt right at home too.

My stay at Hotel Indigo Williamsburg in Brooklyn was absolutely fantastic! The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming—always smiling, helpful, and attentive without being overbearing. We received breakfast vouchers for two days, which was a nice touch. While we had to pick them up ourselves (a bit of extra step), it wasn’t a big issue once we got used to the routine. The rooms were spotless and well-maintained, creating a clean, comfortable atmosphere that made our family feel at ease—even the kids loved it. The location is great too, with easy access to local cafes, parks, and subway lines. It’s clear the hotel puts effort into details and guest experience. I’d definitely book here again if I’m ever back in Brooklyn—highly recommend this gem!

The Pod Brooklyn is my top choice whenever I visit NYC. Located just steps from the L train, I can be in Manhattan in under 5 minutes—perfect for exploring the city quickly. Situated on Bedford Avenue, the area is packed with amazing local spots, from cozy cafes to trendy bars and restaurants. Absolutely loved my stay at LIC Hotel! The location is perfect—just a short subway ride from downtown Manhattan. The staff were incredibly friendly and the rooms were clean, spacious, and well-maintained. I stayed for a full week, and while the breakfast menu was consistent throughout, it was still delicious and satisfying. One small suggestion: adding a fresh tomato and cheese salad to the breakfast spread would make it even better. Overall, this hotel offers fantastic value for money and a truly comfortable experience. I’d definitely come back and recommend it to anyone visiting NYC.

Staying at Pointe Plaza Hotel was a fantastic experience. The location is quiet yet perfectly positioned for easy access to Manhattan—just a short subway ride away, making it ideal for exploring the city without the hassle of long commutes. Our room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with all the essentials, though it didn’t include a fridge—still, that didn’t detract from the overall quality of the stay. What really stood out was the staff: friendly, helpful, and always willing to go the extra mile. Their warm hospitality made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. For travelers looking for a peaceful retreat with great convenience and excellent service, this hotel is an outstanding choice. I’d definitely stay here again on my next trip to New York.

The location is unbeatable—just a 5-minute walk to the subway line 6, making it super easy to explore downtown or head back uptown. I loved being steps away from Central Park and the Metropolitan Museum of Art, with plenty of great coffee shops, restaurants, bars, and boutiques right outside the door. The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming—so friendly and attentive. Even with my belongings scattered everywhere, they managed to clean and organize everything thoughtfully without missing a beat. The room was spotless and so comfortable. I genuinely wish I could stay here again. This was hands down the best choice I made for my NYC trip.

I stayed at the International Students Residence and was pleasantly surprised by how welcoming and practical it felt. The kitchen is one of the friendliest I've used—perfect for cooking meals on a budget, which is great for students. There's even a piano in the common area, which adds a nice touch for relaxing or playing during downtime. My room was clean and comfortable, and while the bathroom and shower are shared, they’re well-maintained and functional. It’s affordable without compromising on basics, and being close to public transit makes getting around New York easy. A solid choice for students looking for value and a cozy vibe.

The Box House Hotel exceeded my expectations in nearly every way—except for the front desk staff, who could have been a bit more welcoming. Everything else was top-notch. The location is fantastic: just a short subway ride from downtown Manhattan, with plenty of great restaurants and shops nearby. My room was clean, spacious, and beautifully designed with modern touches. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the air felt fresh and crisp throughout the stay. I especially appreciated the well-lit bathroom with strong shower pressure and smart storage solutions. Even though the check-in experience wasn’t as warm as I’d hoped, the overall quality of the hotel, the attention to detail, and the value for money made up for it completely. I’d definitely book here again when visiting New York.

Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a cozy, convenient, and welcoming stay.
