After careful research, I chose this hotel—and I couldn’t be happier. From Kunming South Railway Station, I took Line 1 to Line 5, got off at Mili Temple Station (Exit G), and walked through a quiet alleyway—just a few minutes away. The location is incredibly convenient, especially for those relying on public transit. This hotel is part of Yunnan Provincial Training Center, and the atmosphere is both elegant and serene. Everything from housekeeping to front desk service felt professional and thoughtful. I arrived late on the second night after a long journey—outside was freezing cold—but inside, the lobby was warm and welcoming. The staff kindly offered free hot porridge and ginger tea to help ward off the chill. It instantly made me feel at home. Inside the room, attention to detail stood out: complimentary tea bags (green and black), a disposable toilet seat cover, and slippers that were sanitized and sealed in plastic wrap. Even the toothbrush and cotton slippers were high-quality. Breakfast started at 7 a.m. and was outstanding—offering a wide range of options from traditional Chinese dishes to Western-style fare. I especially loved the local specialties: rice noodles made from Yunnan red rice, er si, and fresh mi xian, all served with thoughtfully prepared toppings. For travelers from the north, there were also hearty noodle dishes with rich zhajiang sauce and crispy golden fried eggs—perfectly delicious. There were also salads and fresh fruits for health-conscious guests. Overall, the balance between comfort, cleanliness, and personalized touches made this stay unforgettable. Highly recommended.
