Third, there’s a working washer and dryer right in the room—yes, really! I asked customer service about it and found out they just installed them recently. So convenient! No more trying to dry clothes by hanging them near the AC like I’ve done at other hotels. The pool area is fantastic: clean water, well-maintained, and perfect for a refreshing swim—ideal for someone who enjoys swimming. Breakfast leaned slightly toward Western style, but the quality of ingredients and presentation were excellent. Staff were courteous and warm throughout the morning, and I appreciated the complimentary member treats—like the pork siu mai pastry, which was deliciously flaky and flavorful. Every detail felt thoughtfully curated. This was a memorable stay, and I couldn’t recommend it more highly. A solid five-star experience from start to finish.

Pazhou Hotel (Guangzhou Convention and Exhibition Center Modiesha Metro Station)
I booked this hotel last-minute for a business trip mainly because of the affordable rate, and honestly, I was expecting something basic or underwhelming. But it completely exceeded my expectations! The bed is just the right firmness—not too soft that you sink into it, not too hard either. It’s perfectly balanced, and the pillows are great too—neither too fluffy nor too high, providing excellent support. To be honest, I slept better here than in some so-called five-star hotels I’ve stayed at before. The room has a slightly vintage decor style, which gives it a unique charm rather than feeling outdated. Located just steps from Modiesha Metro Station, it’s super convenient to get to Guangzhou Convention and Exhibition Center. There are plenty of dining options nearby, and overall, the value for money is outstanding. I’ll definitely come back if I’m ever in Guangzhou again.
