Still, overall it felt very clean and well-maintained, which is important when traveling with kids. The hotel’s circular design creates a pleasant atmosphere, and the second floor has a convenient retail area plus an on-site restaurant. On the ground floor, you’ll find 7-Eleven, Starbucks, Nayuki, KFC, and even Tao Tao Ju—a real bonus for food lovers who don’t want to leave the building. Everything is within walking distance, and being near Zhujiang New Town makes getting around the city super easy via subway. Service stood out—when I asked to switch rooms, staff responded quickly and even upgraded me to a window-facing room on the outer side of the building because they noticed I had young kids, thinking the closed-window inner room might feel stuffy. However, after one night during a sudden drop in temperature, I found the open window let in too much cold air, so I requested to switch back to a sealed-window room.
