Overall, I was really satisfied with my stay. The homestay is located on the 2nd floor of a mixed-use building near Ayuanyuan Plaza, and there are tons of delicious local snacks just downstairs—perfect for late-night cravings. Even though it’s on the 2nd floor, the room has excellent soundproofing and windows that keep noise out completely. Best of all, for under $200, you can get a solid e-sports room right at a metro station entrance—great value for money. That said, there are two areas where the host could improve: First, as an e-gaming space, stable internet should be a top priority. I had trouble launching Steam and connecting to online games—without a VPN, many titles wouldn’t even load. When playing *Yujian Wu Jian*, the lag was unbearable during larger player matches, which was frustrating. Second, cleanliness needs more attention. I found a bent hair in the toilet bowl before use—definitely not something you want to see. It’s hard not to wonder where it came from. Still, these are just suggestions for improvement. Given how affordable this place is, the overall experience remains strong. For the price, you can’t expect perfection—but it’s definitely a great option if you’re looking for a budget-friendly gaming stay.

The front desk staff, Wei Wei, was incredibly helpful and friendly—always ready to assist with any request. The location is unbeatable: right in the heart of the city, close to Dongjiao Memory for cultural vibes and just steps away from Longhu Binjiang Tianjie shopping area. There are so many amazing dining options around that I didn’t even need to go far for meals. Despite being in a busy area, the windows effectively block outside noise, and the air conditioning worked flawlessly all night long—great sleep quality. I stayed for three nights and would definitely book again on my next trip to Chengdu. For the price and location, this place offers outstanding value. Highly recommended!
