The breakfast was outstanding—plenty of delicious choices without any waste. The room was immaculately clean, spacious, and well-appointed. Staff were attentive and friendly throughout our stay. The walls were so thin we could hear absolutely everything from the couple next door—every word, even their pet names. It was incredibly uncomfortable and embarrassing. When we complained to management, they said they’d contacted the neighbors, who stopped briefly for about 10 minutes before resuming. They claimed they could only fix the fridge and tap the following week. We asked for a refund, but were denied outright. The staff offered zero empathy or real solutions. This place is poorly managed, and the overall experience was awful. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone, not even as a last resort.

While breakfast isn’t included, there are plenty of great options nearby—coffee shops and brunch spots open by 10 a.m., so you’re never far from a good meal. A five-minute walk takes you to Trader Joe’s, where you can grab snacks, drinks, or souvenirs. Overall, this place offers a unique, authentic vibe with excellent value. Definitely worth returning.

It felt a bit unexpected, almost as if they’re discouraging guests from bringing in their own food and pushing them toward dining at the hotel’s restaurant instead. Still, that minor downside doesn’t take away from the overall quality. The hotel feels safe, clean, and well-maintained—perfect for a family vacation. The location is unbeatable, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. If you're visiting Universal Studios, this is definitely one of the best places to stay, and despite the microwave charge, we’d stay here again without hesitation.
