Though the entrance requires climbing a narrow staircase to reach the first floor, stepping inside reveals a beautifully decorated space with thoughtful amenities: a washing machine, full-sized refrigerator, and strong Wi-Fi. We especially appreciated the outdoor clothes drying setup. While the listing mentioned a dishwasher, conventional oven, and toaster—none of which were actually available—we managed perfectly well using the microwave, gas cooktop, and countertop toaster oven. The shower in the bathroom is quite narrow, limiting movement slightly, but it’s still functional. What really stood out was the ability to drop off our luggage at the nearby front desk before check-in, which made our arrival stress-free. Alex, the front desk staff, was incredibly helpful and welcoming, making us feel right at home. Located in a quiet neighborhood, the apartment is just a short walk from Santa Maria Novella train station, giving us easy access to all major attractions. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend this property to others looking for comfort, convenience, and a local touch in Florence.

Also, please note that check-out is at 10:00 AM—not later like many hotels—so plan accordingly if you’re hoping to sleep in.
