I especially enjoyed the breakfast buffet; it had a great variety of fresh pastries, local cheeses, and hot options. We didn’t get a chance to use the pool, but knowing it was available added a nice touch of relaxation. For the price, this hotel offers excellent value. Even though my flight was delayed and I arrived late, the staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful—no complaints at all. The room was immaculate, spotless from top to bottom, including the bathroom, which felt more like a spa than a hotel restroom. Free parking is a big plus, and while meals aren’t included in the rate, the breakfast was excellent—fresh, varied, and satisfying. Location-wise, it’s perfect: close to both the airport and downtown Florence, making it easy to explore the city by metro or on foot. Plus, right across the street is a convenience store open until 1 AM, so you can grab snacks or drinks late at night—a small but thoughtful touch. Everything about this stay exceeded expectations. The apartment was incredibly comfortable and located in a fantastic spot—just a short walk from the train station and all the must-see sights in historic Florence. Even though there’s a nightclub directly across the street, the unit stayed surprisingly quiet, especially considering the location. We felt safe walking around the neighborhood at night, which was a big plus. The only real challenge was finding the apartment itself. Florence’s address system can be confusing, with multiple numbers often pointing to the same building. Despite having detailed notes from the host, we still got lost a couple of times and had to call for directions. Once we found it, everything else was perfect—great layout, clean, well-equipped, and very welcoming. Would definitely stay here again.

The room itself was decently decorated but poorly insulated; it stayed cold throughout our stay, and there were no operable windows to let in fresh air. Cleaning wasn’t up to standard either — especially for the price we paid. To be honest, it felt overpriced for what we got. However, the one redeeming factor is the location: walking distance to the Boboli Gardens, Ponte Vecchio, and the heart of Florence. Public transport access is excellent, making it easy to explore the city. If you're looking for convenience and don't mind a basic stay, it could work. But if you value transparency, comfort, and cleanliness, this isn’t the best choice.

Stayed just one night at Hotel Magenta and it was absolutely excellent! Located just a few minutes from the city center, everything was so convenient—perfect for exploring Florence on foot or by metro. We booked a room with reserved parking, which was tucked inside a private courtyard—very secure and quiet. The staff were incredibly welcoming, especially the guy at reception who was super friendly and even brought his adorable little dog along—so much charm! The room was spotless, and while the bathroom was a bit small, it worked perfectly fine for two people staying only overnight. Breakfast was a generous buffet with plenty of variety—fresh pastries, fruits, coffee, you name it. I’ve been coming to Florence for years, and Hotel Magenta has become my go-to choice every time.
